Welcome to Arianna Island! Download Arianna Island is inspired by the Italian countryside. A sparsely populated island with rolling hills, vineyards, charming cottages, and farmhouses. Arianna Island is a relatively small island, roughly 1600x1600 meters. It features 20 kilometers (12.4 mi) of asphalt and dirt roads combined, and has a fair amount of points of interest to explore. In the north-west you will find a bridge leading to Arianna Island's sister island, Arielle Island which is a recently added expansion. Scenarios This map includes 5 scenarios: Asphalt Attack: A high-speed time trial in the ETK K-Series that visits every asphalt road on the island. Beam to Broadcast: A mixed on- and off-road time trial in the Ibishu Hopper. Race from the lighthouse to the radio tower against the clock. Priority Parcel: Deliver four priority packages to a customer. Secondhand Sofa: Bring home your newly purchased secondhand sofa. Securing your cargo? Never heard of it. Hello hi, I found a small bug/oversight with a piece of road at the arianna bridge where the road is very grippy, not sure if that was the intention. Also question, is it normal that the map is zoomed out so far? And idk if it's just Vulkan but the default plates are blank instead of the Italy plates. Rest of the map is gorgeous and lovely. Also is it supposed to be 1.35GB in size? Just seems like a lot.
Thank you for your feedback! The road is not supposed to be that grippy. It is supposed to be new asphalt, not prepped asphalt. License plates are something I had forgot about completely. I will address these issues in the next update. Regarding the map - I believe the game zooms out to the 4096x4096 size even if the island is smaller than that. I am unsure if I can just change the size now or if something will break. I will check this later. The size is unfortunately as optimized as possible given the assets used are a mix from different vanilla maps. There are no unused assets or textures.

Good morning! I've tried your map in the last few days and I really enjoy It! As an Italian driver I want to give you an advice to made driving around the map even more realistic. My advice is to add more road signage cause at some points without the navigator it's pretty difficult to understand where the road goes. I'll give you some examples: 1) Here there is a right turn but as you can see it's pretty invisble due to road's slope So I'll add this marker to make the turn more visible 2) Here there's a junction but again due to road's slope it' s quite difficult to see it So I'll add these two signs to improve it 3) here I'll add road signs to signal that the road become dirty maybe with these signs With this message I absolutely don't want to criticize your work, mine is just a suggestion to make the map even more realistic!
This is great feedback! I agree that fully blind corners should have some indication of where the road goes. At the same time, I feel like the lack of road signs introduce some unpredictability and surprises, to which you must slow down a bit. All about finding a balance
its reaaaally awesome especially for a first attempt at a full map. if you fix the underwater terrain textures and smooth out some of the artifacts it could actually be perfect!! its kinda silly seeing grass underwater but in some places it looks like sea moss so maybe keep some of it

Fixed some instances of grass overlapping the asphalt. 2024.08.31.d5934de Reworked the blind corner beneath the quarry. It now has a guardrail and arrow signs. Now uses the correct preview image for the fuel station.
2024.09.04.f6b368d Changed the grass paths leading to the radio tower to dirt. Fixed some rockfaces that did not align with the terrain. Fixed missing name for the radio tower spawnpoint. I don't see this happening. Could it be related to a specific vehicle?
