Agreed. We literally had a teaser about ETK and Ibishu bodykits. And generally, beam updates include several niche themed content. Offroad, tuning, and we might also get content for other niches liek drifting configs or (i hope) more cop cars
Exactly! Like of course this truck isn't only "offroad content," that's just what they showed in the teaser since it's likely one of the few "fun" configs for the truck. The rest are likely stock or commercial versions, some of which were teased already, so they figured they show off the fun version to get people hyped.
oh dont worry i cant stand all the offroad stuff, but if we have to get more.. why not a seicento? they can clearly offroad as seen above! we dont need more offroad things, or anything else actually, just seicento : - )
I love these offroading updates! But come on devs... GIVE IT A BREAK! It would be nice to see something other than trailer-hauling and rock-smashing featured content once in a while... --- Post updated --- I'm sure this update will still be awesome though.
No, seriously I do!.. Well, did. Now it's just become regular and kinda boring to me. They're still great updates, but they just don't have the same effect, because we have had so many of the same general thing recently.
I agree, but if I remember correctly I think one of the reasons why tire thermal is taking so much time is that the current tire dynamics isn’t good enough for it. Like they could have implemented it, but it wouldn’t have been really good since tire dynamics aren’t particularly realistic at their limits rn. But yeah I think introducing this huge change in a racing/tunner update would be a great idea. Personally what I would love to see is an analogous car to the RX-7. Maybe a concept car/one off race car from Hirochi from the 90s early 2000. I just would love to see a rotary engine in game
Both had large sections dedicated to utility and that was a (relatively) large part of the offroading updates. Either way, I think it's about time we got an update focused on "Fast And Fun" instead of "Slow And Rough". (don't get me wrong offroading can be fun too...)
How is utility related to offroading? Plus, 0.32 also added the BX-Series remaster which I would say is "fast and fun".
Then we went right back to "Slow And Rough" with the new medium-duty truck... Offroady bits for utility vehicles, and collection/transportation missions for offroad vehicles.
But we're also getting customization for the '86 Pessima and the SBR4. Every vehicle has off-road bits on it though?
cant wait for this thread to be renamed "complaining about of road content thread". y'all just chill tf out, the update is near. totally just disregard the water tanker we saw and complain about the amount of offroading. ignore the t-series with the drop axle drifting around 2 medium duty d-series with truck beds because they're adding "too much offroading". give it a break yall
While I admit the heavy hauler content is not everyone's cup of tea, it is the only real career mode gameplay in game currently and there is a big chunk of the community that has been wanting it For those who do want something a bit more motorsport related... Keep in mind we could get a lot of motorsport trucks in this update. The T-Series recently got a racing block, and there's plenty of IRL motorsports that would use a truck like that and the D65. Between the 2 cab versions of T-Series trucks and the D65 (Single and tandem rear axle versions) we could have an entire fleet of Great American Truck Race rigs... The D65 is a few years too new, but it could get shoehorned in. Sure they weren't indy cars, but these things were still doing 120mph on the speedways. Then there's Australian super trucks, which do go on road courses
the medium duty is needed for career mode I personally think there will be a focus on mixed updates with content focusing on what is needed for career such as the utility vehicles needed for delivery general motor sports such as racing drifting and offroading as well as possible new police variants of certain vehicles like the medium duty I personally would like to even see a police t-series since that is what is somtimes needed when a semi truck is the vehicle that needs stoping
To the people wanting less “off-road” updates. I present you with a solution: Take the vehicle, put a roll cage in, sport or race suspension tuning and maybe add a turbo or supercharger along with some slick tires and you now have a race themed vehicle.
Beamng have literally +1000 mods, and every cars are customizable. Beam team arent doing "offroad only" updates/contents, but surely they're advertising the offroad mainly, maybe due to the Gambler partnership. People complain about offroad because only offroad is advertised, but it doesnt mean they're doing only that. --- Post updated --- Yeah exactly. So much things to speculate about --- Post updated --- Speculating time! I hope we will see more emergency vehicles thanks to the career mode differents jobs! With the water tanker that could make new scénarios like "drive fast with this heavy truck!" Do you think they will add water as particules at least?
