In 2003, the small french city of Montpellier bought three 1999 Ford Crown Victoria for its municipal police.

Unfortunately, they had to be sold in auction because their maintenance were too pricy, and the cars, too big for th narrow streets of this European city.

They're the only police CVPI used in Europe.

They're using the "grappler" for ~4 years now! Its use is not that widespread sadly :(

But there's still some police agencies that use it in the US!

Also, the grappler mod by @ItsYourBoi ! (broken though)

This is the 1969 Dodge Polara Pursuit. Allegedly, it was the fastest 4 door police car in the world for over 2 decades, with a 0-60 of only around 6.5 seconds and a top speed of roughly 150 mph. Those numbers were due in part to the mighty 440 Magnum V8 under the hood, pushing 375 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. This savage of an interceptor was only beaten by the Caprice 9C1 a quarter of a century later.

Why are airport firetrucks weird shaped?

Airport crash tenders (that's how they're called) are longer, bigger than city ones. They also have a distinctive angular front shape.

Crash tenders are equipped with not only water and foam cannons, but also various chemical nozzles to mix, so it explains their bigger size shown on the second photo.

There's no fire hydrants on the runway. The crash tender need bigger, and several storage units to use water, foam and the chemicals.

Some countries that have long tunnels, like Switzerland and China, have Dual-cabs rescue trucks

Connecticut State Police cars aren't marked, compared to the other 49 states!

"The reason for their use of unmarked cars is derived from their origin as a volunteer force that allowed troopers to use their personal vehicles; in the present, most CSP cruisers are issued, but they are also allowed for personal use, making the lack of a livery suitable"

    -From Wikipedia

The only marked ones are used in special operations or in parades! (Last photo)

This is the RMA Amphi Ranger SR of Reihnau's police, used from 1987 to 2000.

It was used on lakes, for the control of fishermen, and monitoring navigation.

After its decommission, the RMA was handed to the Marburg museum of police history (Polizeioldtimer-Museum).
