Nooooooo, tell me that at least the transmissions part, spicers, roadrangers and can be salvable, i hope those are made into the new version of the mod or on a new mod. Sad that devs didn't put any of those transmissions in the game. Having those transmissions was my favorite part of the game, i can donate money if those are going to be on the game again.
Man STFU. "Officially dead" my ass. Just because they reworked the slot system doesn't mean I can't continue the mod. It just means it'll be a little more work to get it back running. I've said repeatedly on this forum that I would rework the mod to work with this update. Also it's only been like 5 hours since the update dropped and in the middle of a work day no less.
If you don’t mind explaining, what do you mean by “reworked the slot system”? I’m away from my computer rn so I can’t check
At least those are okay. The real important concepts (twinsteer mainly) didn't. Ah, okay. Tank about me being forgetful. Hopefully it can be done quick, I had to give up about 60% of all my T-Series items because of this and now I have no idea what to do. P.D: Why is it that I find "STFU" amusing when I'm on the recieving end?
Y'all are being so daft about updates breaking mods. It's not like this will just completely displace development entirely.
Instead of having separate slots for the front and rear frames like in 0.32, the rear frame slot is now INSIDE the front frame. As a coreSlot, no less.
The frames and exhausts use a New "slot2" for part slots. The main thing new AFAIK is that it can both whitelist and blacklist parts. I only got a glimpse of the update before leaving to work.
There migh Oh great news, your transmissions seem to work as far as i tested just now, tested roadranger 18, Super 12 and Spicer 5+4 deep reduction, but some configs don't work the electric with 5 axles crashed my game, 8 axle offroad appears only the front of the frame with 4 small wheels a day cabover i had set up as 3 axles appeared as 2 axles only, but instead the sleeper cabover appeared correctly with 3 axles. Maybe would be good to have a standalone mod for the transmissions, or would that not work or be too much work to separate? If you accept donations for all this work i'm open to donate.
You're the type of person who answer's for the author, you're so great at assuming s*** without seeking for information from the actual author. The forums are better off without your presence honestly speaking
So after a decent bit of reworking I've now got a functional patch for v0.33 Update v0.58: - Reworked T60, TC60 and TV80 frames to not explode with the new update. - Reworked the TC60 and T60 exhausts to use the new material slot system(And not crash the game) - Removed my existing Twin-steer, tri-drive and tag axles - Removed Twin Steer AWD(Single steer AWD still works) - Removed all T70 frames and parts - Removed weed-burner exhaust(For now) - Removed front EV axles and fixed the E-Drive controller - Added New Twin Steer Day Cab Conventional frame and TV80 Twin Steer Daycab Frames utilizing the new Official axles - Reworked Extended Single Drive Frame(Note: has invisible driveshaft RN) - Removed all old configs as they all broke with the update. - Remade 5 Configs(TV83 Slant-Nose Sleeper, T63 Snubnose Sleeper, Tc83 China-Six, T85 Flatbed) More to come in future.
Thank you for the quick update! One thing I noticed: Is it just me or has the TV83 Slant-Nose Sleeper config become slightly longer?
The TV83 and T63 now use the Official short tandem drive frame replacing my (quite jank) Short T70 frame setup. This has made it a little longer than before.
I've been trying to get the old front frames to work, but so much has changed that I fear it may not be possible soon: some frames still crash the game. At least the ones that do work no longer explode or lack a driveshaft. Sort of. Hopefully the old frames can be brought back somehow. Meanwhile, I'll go delete some of my work, it's trash now :/
There is little point to salvaging the old twinsteer frames as the new official ones are both modelled better and ride better due to having an equalizer between the leafs.
