The MD's red halogen lightbars have a white light for some reason.
Second pic is the H-series to compare

I would say, for the time period, (especially the pre-facelift) it is accurate.

In 1986 the base Ford F700 diesels were 175hp. They went up to 250hp. The school bus chassis started out at 160hp.

None of these had overdrive at that time. They had to use fairly high ratio final drives to make sure they had pulling power from the low output diesels.

From what I have seen, these trucks lived life WOT and cruising near max RPM on highways.

Example video, This 1989 F700 has the 6.6L Ford of Brazil Diesel. Notice it is at max RPM and not even doing 65mph.

Excellent job on this vehicle. It's easily become one of my favourite vanilla vehicles in BeamNG.drive. I do have a few suggestions for configs for the Gavril MD-Series and a few engine suggestions.

1986-1992 Gavril MD60 School Bus by Fieldfare

    Engine: 5.5 litre Gavril V8, 6.9 litre Gavril V8, Belasco-Diesel 600CUI Diesel I6

Inspiration: Ford B-Series Blue Bird school bus, Chevrolet/GMC B-Series Blue Bird school bus

Description: The Gavril MD60 School Bus by Fieldfare is the go-to choice for schools across the States. It has served many school districts well and is a popular choice for those who want something reliable and cheap to maintain. Diesel engines became the most popular option for these buses that can hold 48-77 passengers depending on the length. The less-popular gas engines were also available for these buses and the 5.5 litre V8 was dropped for 1991. Most of these buses either came available with an automatic or the 5-speed manual transmission without the range splitter. Wether if it's in a town or city, these buses has become the icon of many childhood memories.

    1993-2003 Gavril MD60 Fieldfare SB600

    Engine: 6.9 litre Gavril V8, 5.9 litre Randolph R12A 12-valve Diesel I6 (Based on Cummins I6), Belasco-Diesel 600CUI Diesel I6

Inspiration: Ford B-Series Blue Bird school bus, Blue Bird CV200 school bus.

Description: When the Gavril MD60 was given a facelift, Fieldfare Buses made an exclusive deal to become the only coachbuilder for the Gavril MD60 chassis. Because of this, it was known as the Fieldfare SB600. SB standing for "School Bus". The Fieldfare SB600 was introduced only a year after the new Gavril MD60 was launched. For the first time, a 2nd diesel engine was offered as an alternative to the Belasco-Diesel 600CUI Diesel I6. The only gas engine that stayed was the venerable 6.9 litre Gavril V8. Like the previous generation, there was little demand for the gas engine itself. The Fieldfare SB600 outlasted the truck it was based on as it wasn't discontinued until 2003. Fieldfare Buses kept ordering parts for the Gavril MD Series to make the remaining buses themselves. Fieldfare's contract with Gavril ended in 2003 and they started making proprietary chassis after their MD Series based school buses have been discontinued. The Fieldfare SB600 is the one bus that you don't wanna miss when you are late to school.

    1992-2003 Gavril MD70 Armoured Truck

    Engine: Belasco-Diesel 600CUI Diesel I6

    Inspiration: International S-Series Armoured Truck

Description: Banks rely on these vehicles to transport their money safely and to protect it from baddies. Built by a defence contractor, these trucks are durable and can take a beating, especially from rammers. Like the school buses themselves, the MD70 Armoured Truck has also continued well into 2003. Don't think you're getting the money that easily as these trucks will always be there to ensure that it's transported safely and with a lot of security to boot.

    1992-1998 Gavril MD70 Fire Truck

    Engine: Belasco-Diesel 600CUI Diesel I6

    Inspiration: Any medium-duty fire truck

Description: When trouble is afloat, the Gavril MD60 Fire Truck is there put out any fires. It is equipped with a water hose that is designed to put out those blazing-hot infernos and it also has a ladder for reaching those tall buildings. It's a fire truck, what more can I say?

    1992-1998 Gavril MD60 Drag

    Engine: 6.9 litre Gavril V8

Inspiration: Every other drag config in the game

Description: This is the Gavril MD-Series for people that wanna go fast in a straight line, nuff said. It is equipped with a supercharged 6.9 litre Gavril V8 engine and has a 4WD transfer case. It also has a 4-speed drag transmission to handle the extra power of the supercharged V8. This is the perfect truck to go up against the Gavril T-Series drag.

Interesting, I was not aware of that. Although, I still have made a good suggestion for a possible school bus config. I just didn't see it at first. But anyways, I still look forward to seeing more configs out of the Gavril MD Series itself.

is it just me or are the tires on many of the late models really small? they make the truck look cartoonishly wide

i'm not familiar with these kinds of trucks, so i dont know if that's a norm in real-life

The only things I've noticed are that some transmissions and stick configs aren't accurate. Some have 10 speed with 5 speed stick. There's also no steering shaft from steering wheel to box

Vents change colour with tertiary paint

EDIT: And secondary paint. Weird behaviour
EDIT 2 - Electric Boogaloo: The fifth wheel slider does not like being put in the +1m position

This thing is so much fun. Had no idea what i wanted to do with it at first. Tried various offroad things and while it looked cool it wasnt very good at it. Then i started hauling logs around like spin tires Found that was very fun and spent 4 hours doing that lol. I was using the truck wrong the whole time till now I need to haul things with this truck and not treat it like a crawler the whole point of this truck is to haul heavy stuff.

It depends on the truck, but some models, especially newer models, do have small wheels, or at least tires.

MD60 is a class 6 truck with light or medium duty leaf springs, rated for light upfits like ambulance, flatbed or dryvan.
MD70 is a class 7 truck with heavy duty leaf springs (except pickup configurations use light or medium duty ones instead as they are not stock), rated for heavier upfits like logging, dump or fifth wheel for trailers.
Think like D-Series has D15, D25, D35 and D45, same truck but different suspension.

I've fixed it already, unsure if it reached steam version already or not however. Both T and Md series bindings have been (or will be) renamed to just low/high rather than overdrive/underdrive specific, to allow for more transmission types
