this is ridiculous

your killing me beam. you call this a reasonable update size? how can a bugfix be 49 f****** gbs large. my thats an eighth of my laptop hard drive. optimize the updates pleeeeaaase.

 

It happens on other games, not limited to Beam
The Steam "patching" really needs optimization to prevent excessive SSD wear
However, Beam should compress their zip files to reduce update size

 

oh thanks for telling me. my other steam games dont update as much as beam so i geuss i didnt notice. lol

 

Beam is also a massive game built upon lots of custom code as the engine they used is crusty.

 

yes they are actively working on fixing that, hence the 0.33 update didnt have much content
