Outdated SEQ: The tracks V.1

(Drum roll) Welcome to my 5th attempt at my SEQ map (lol)

This time it is worth following. I am going to devote most of my modding time to my 4x4 parts pack, however this will be a side project I will continue to work on for everyone to enjoy. Do not expect amazing quality, however it does have a generated terrain and custom PBR textures (grass is kinda bad tho), so it’s better than before. The map is based of the famous Glasshouse Mountains/South East Queensland area of Australia. This is a popular 4wd spot that I love and visit when possible. If you are from the area do not expect amazing realism as I am not local, however it is pretty similar, as I have been several times for 4wd trips. It mainly consists of ruts, rocky hill climbs, and a decent bit of mud, all in pine and Eucalyptus forest. I recommend doing this in an Australian-style modified 4x4, with 35s or 37s. Gonna come back to this at somepoint, but just focusing on my Aus Hills map as it is going quite well. When I finally come back to this however it will be redone and from a copy of Johnson Valley, same as what I did with Aus Hills

 

I envy you. I really want to make a mod, but the only thing I know is the how to make Automation mod and there is no good land mod or map mod tutorial on the Internet. Can you help me?

Nah all good. Btw the first one by Pix3l monkey is more advanced than the second, but has a way better outcome

 

Might come back to this and redo the map now I know how to set it up properly

 

I am going to try and make a terrain for this because I have worked out how to use World Machine on a Linux, so hopefully that will work and off we go

Making car parts is easier and more interesting so I will most likely focus on my parts pack and this map can just be for a bit of fun

Another pic, some more to come I have added a river which will have a crawl section

 

changed the textures, made the dirt and mud more clay-like, and added a new mud which I need to fix

 

Will probably release by the end of this week, I just have to do the river crawl track, and add a bit more forest
