I don't have any other versions installed, and I cleared my whole vehicles cache and got that issue too, though interestingly the roof textures work fine.
I have gotten the temps to work by adding exhaust headers and adjusting the jbeam I have also gotten the interior temp gauge to work. also the fuel gauge is definitely working now but the fuel tank level will need to be changed to 100L to match the gauge. i also added a few more radiators issues with the temps are that the coolant level does not want to change from the default of 1.5L needs to be 20L but however much I try I can't find why it won't work so the car easily overheats. also as there is no exhaust only headers the exhaust comes out under the engine --- Post updated --- I now have added some interior interactive trigger buttons and some interior sounds like indicators I also changed the speedometer from airspeed to wheelspeed I also fixed the tachometer and all other gauges to ingame functions - auriga258body.jbeam increased the fuel tank to 100 Litres as per the fuel gauge - auriga258engine.jbeam Still can't work out that stupid coolant tho --- Post updated --- i just turned that light on the dash into a working check engine light --- Post updated --- found the stupid coolant issue the radiator was set to engine instead of mainengine
I have made some parts and tweaks like moving the diff and transmission to their own files and added custom diffs like race and limited slip and some custom transmissions and some modified ones from the bluebuck to add automatics and drag and race transmissions and a low range first gear 5 speed because 15km/h idle is a little fast I also added an oil cooler sorta its only there but no nodes or flexbodies because under race conditions the oil gets very toasty
It's a simple drag and drop if you want to do it yourself. Otherwise, I'll be trying to push out another update in a day or two with that stuff included.
I've done. Fixed Clock Fixed RPM guage Added Openable Retextured Lights Fixed the old shift indicator sort of, it just acts like a shift light. Added Old Horn back Added Interior sounds (Parking brake and light switch sound)
Ive been trying to get the clock to work and everything I tried didn't work I even tried lua files just for the clock
also that light on the dash was a engine damage light that's why I tied it to beamngs check engine edit I was wrong it is not a damage light
I was just fixing the lua and realised that but also your shift points are wrong as far as I know also I "fixed" the lua I didn't change much I just removed what didn't work or may interfere with your latches like the hood latch Lua so now the "vacuum" and "oil pressure" gauges work also the game does not like having both your clock.lua and auriga258.lua
I have added your fixed version of the lua, seems you also fixed the Amperes Needle. The shift indicator is working properley now.
Hey, Just want to thank you for updating this mod!, its been so long since i used it and i just LOVE IT!!! and here's a suggestion you should try to make the exhaust's? It'll be more realistic that way. lol not trying to sound ungrateful or anything to that sorts but i just like realism! but anyways THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! --- Post updated --- And i was also going to see if you need someone to make skins for it?
Really love this mod, and that it gets updated! Would be cool if there was more configurations, for example wheels, lights, engines. So you really could build a Hot Rod or Rat Rod.
I tried to fix the engine overheating problem by: 1.) Messing with radiator efficiency in the engine jbeam file (Didn't make a difference) 2.) Messing around with engine efficiency setting in the engine jbeam file (Didn't make a difference) 3.) Changing the max heat value for the engine in the engine jbeam file (Didn't necessarily make a difference, it just continuously heats up) 4.) Changing coolant level in engine jbeam file (changed value didn't show up in game, changed it back to its original value of 20) 4.) Moving the radiator elements to the body jbeam file (Didn't make a difference so I moved it back to the engine jbeam file) I ended up turning thermal simulation off within the engine jbeam file. - engine jbeam file with thermals turned off, down below. Does anyone have any other ideas?
Nice to see this mod getting refreshed! I remember playing with this mod during my days in high school. Think it needs some number plates, as it's missing those.
