Well, if you're looking for inspiration when you have less to do with the truck mod, adding some more axles to the existing trailers to mimic the configs that we have in Michigan would be a very welcome addition.
Please do put in his MD axles, that is a must have! Also if you don’t mind me asking, any reason why the last few updates haven’t been on the repo?
Not anytime soon. The new lift axles track width is perfect for the regular singles but way too wide for super singles. Squishing down the axle to reduce track width would be a PITA. Not saying I won't ever bring them back but I have no plans for it ATM. I'll consider it when I eventually get back around to the trailer mod. Not sure TBH. I've uploaded all the updates to repo either when I posted them here or even an hour beforehand. Their all awaiting approval but haven't gotten it yet. It could be an error with my mod but I haven't been messaged by the moderators so probably not. It could also just be a large influx of mods after the latest game update and I am stuck far back in the queue.
What about a logging trailer for the pintle hitch. like the ones from snow runner. The games seems to have all the assets already you would just need to put them together, But what do I know probably way harder then that.
I'm not really sure what you're asking for as we already have a short logging trailer that can fit the pintle hitch. A single axle trailer?
I know you can do that but its more about the look and that you need to bring out a dolly for it. The one in snow runner are shorter, use only a single axle in the rear and and looks a lot more natural then the one that's in beam if your not using the fifth wheel on the truck and instead already have a logging upfit on it. To me this looks much better then what we have in game for small log trailers for the pintle hitch.
Maybe. The issue I have with this is it'd basically be re-modelling the log trailer just for a different look. With my mods I always prioritizes adding functionally different parts over simply aesthetic ones. I'll still add it to the list possible future things for the trailer mod but I have quite a few other things I'd like to add first.
that's totally understandable. It was a just a suggestion of an idea I've had since the T-series update anyways so don't mind it if you don't want to make it because its just aesthetic instead of actual functionality. also I don't want to be an annoyance to you, unless I've already have been.
Well then. I feel like recovering the old lift axle models from previous versions of this mod may help with that, but that's just a theory since I have no skill with 3D modeling, DAE and similar.
I've just checked the mod files. Turns out the EV motors are still set to R1, R2, R3 instead of R0, R1, R2 as they should. In (more or less) layman terms, the missing EV motor is because the game changed how the rear differentials are named, but this mod hasn't chaught up.
Currently the electric drive axles haven't been edited to work with the new tri-drive yet. That will be re-added in the future along with Electric AWD
I will wait until it is completed to a quality that you are satisfied with. (some of my configurations are waiting for an update. lol)
kinda off topic but would you know how to port the flatbed from the MD-series to the D-series? the one used on the "tow rig" config
any chance of some extra fuel tanks to fill the empty space on the longer frames? i can live without em, butt it would be cool to make some down under type builds
