Re: General discussion chat i just saw this amazing post on reddit: wat even EDIT: what the hell i replied saying "You're joking right? if you aren't joking, you're an idiot because there's all sorts of games that work without steam, heck i know tons of them" he replied saying "reported for advertising warez" TIL: GOG, Origin, uPlay, RETAIL DISCS, etc, etc don't exist anymore
Re: General discussion chat Trying to make a cup of coffee when I open the carafe and like 6 bugs came out of it. Ew. Ew. Ew.
Re: General discussion chat TheA got the right link. I could upload an album of what I use though. I have about 20.
Re: General discussion chat I certainly wouldn't mind one if someone is donating them but i wouldn't spend that much money on one unless i ever find myself in a position where £3000 is nothing to me. But if its spending that much on a computer where i have made the case myself and spent a couple months making it then i would consider it much more viable.
Re: General discussion chat Nope. I budgeted my current to $3600. Fulfilled it with 2 dollars to spare. I was playing around earlier on PC Part Picker, to see if I could make an awesome $2500, but, if you saw it, I broke it. Horribly. Here it is: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/2kMkRB This will never be built, but, I was just wondering what I should chop out to get under $2500. Never want a PC over $4000.
Re: General discussion chat I wouldn't buy a 5960X, but I would totally get a 4790K, ASUS Formula and dual GTX 980's. But if someone decides to give me this PC, yep, I'll take it no problem.
Re: General discussion chat Time to try to make another cup of coffee. Fuck, let's hope there are no bugs in the carafe today. EDIT: Had 2 cups, bug-free.
Re: General discussion chat to reply to redrobin's opinion of forza 5: my opinion of Forza horizon 2 so far:
Re: General discussion chat I could use this. Would I build it, probably not. I could easily spend 4-6k on a PC though. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/JxfQMp Monitors are excessive, but otherwise I could seriously use it.
Re: General discussion chat I have my dad's guitar amp hooked up to my computer, and playing some Monstercat it's bad. The function that turns the EQ off doesn't work, and if I fiddle with it it squelches badly. If you change the volume, the frequency response changes too. Absolute piece of shit, and he hates it too. Can't wait until my Lepai LP2020A+ arrives so I can hook up my bookshelf speakers. That'll be worlds better. Now, back to my headphones. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/KzvXdC dream pc yo
Re: General discussion chat Damn, these forums are still slow as balls. My dream PC is sat next to me. I love that thing, its put up with my crap for 4 years and still works (mostly).
Re: General discussion chat my personal reason for having this on my dream list is because i do a LOT of video rendering, so might as well get a cpu that'll eat through my jobs without a problem on a different topic, i made a wishlist on amazon with network upgrades i need to do for my local network 25ft cable is for my pc, i'm in same room as modem/router, but i don't have an ethernet cable long enough still, lol. the 3 10ft cables are for x360, xbone, and 3d blue-ray player. the 100ft cable will be going from modem/router to the network switch which will be setup on the entertainment center (yes, i still call it that) which is what will be splitting the 100ft cable connection upon the 2 consoles and 1 blue-ray player i might upgrade the switch to a 1 gigabit switch, but probably won't because the consoles and blue-ray player won't ever be using those speeds (at least not until google fiber comes, which probably isn't going to happen for a pretty long time) (1 gigabit cables because i'm using logic that's probably not correct, but eh, cables are cheap so might as well) EDIT: whoops, forgot a link for anyone who wants to see it http://www.amazon.com/gp/registry/wishlist/2Q6CXKCRR3CLO/ref=cm_wl_rlist_go_o?
