I've driven a 550, a Continental GT, and a Granturismo. Piloting a supercar is nothing special. Grats on the Agera; I see you've read the brochure.
If youre bill gates, can i please have some money? Not a lot, but id like to have an actual pc instead of this 5 year old laptop (that is quickly gonna be ded forever), And maybe a couple of cheap guns. Ill luv you forever billy baby
I hope youre more reliable than that nigerian prince cousin of mine who wanted to make me rich. I gave him my credit card number, SSN, and even my bank account number, i havnt heard from him yet. But itll happen *crosses fingers*
But herein lies the problem: We also only have one van. We also only have one pickup. We also only have one compact. Hell, as it stands, we don't even yet have a proper muscle car. I agree with you in part, we should have more than one vehicle from any given category. But with only seven complete vehicles and gaining at a rate of about one every eight or so months, I don't think it's quite yet time to start arguing what should be next. Moreover, the style of the game seems to be building toward more of a derby/banger racing type, where players build their cars in their garage. So 70's-90's crapboxes are probably going to be the norm. If it's any consolation, supercars aren't the only category that'll likely only get one example for the foreseeable future. The H-Series, D-Series, Pigeon, and T-75 will likely be the only examples for their respective categories.
i didnt say i owned one. i said i drove one. on a race track with a professional driver in the passenger seat. it was expensive too cause the company just got it. they had that and a few other choices. one of them being a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta. to be honest i almost chose to drive the berlinetta. nice car. but i had to go with my favorite. - - - Updated - - - i sure did. they go for about 1.5 million base price and the winter package is an extra 14k. nice car though. got to drive it in switzerland at their racetrack on vacation. great stability control and traction control. also you really cant crash an agera. (well unless you count stig, but he drove off the road) but i have to say, ive seen alot of supercars. bugatti veyron 16.4 ss, about 15 different ferraris, and a few lambos and none compare to the beauty of a koenigsegg. you know that the koenigsegg agera r is built in a former military jet hanger and before it leaves the factory it gets a stamp on the back on the glass of the logo of the former squadron that flew out of that base? and the logo? it a ghost. that's cause you'll never catch an agera r.
So far we have no proof you're even 19, the ID you posted could well be somebody else. And I smell a very smelly smell here. But whatever. Whether you've actually driven a supercar or not is none of my business. Point is, Drive isn't a game about going 200 mph on a racetrack, it's a game about buying cheap old cars and beating the shit out of them. And supercars are useless for that.
if you want proof i can show you if you would like but why the hell would you want to smash a supercar? i'll tell you, cause its a game. no one is going to purposely crash a 1.5 mil agera or a 2.6 bugatti.
well alot of people have. but honestly why i want it is because i just love the car. the beauty of its design. the sound of the engine. please dont get me started. i might just have to go drive it on my game. son of a.... ok im off to the crew. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
You've got plenty of games for driving supercars, you've got NFS, The Crew, and on the simulator side there's Gran Turismo, Forza, Assetto Corsa... Drive is a game about thrashing about in old bangers. Supercars are the exact opposite of old bangers.
I think racing games are much more entertaining when it isn't glorified with supercars at every corner. For example, iRacing. You got these F1 cars, NASCAR, IndyCar, etc, etc. My favourite car is a Mazda Miata in that game. I like it more than that F1 car, or that Daytona Prototype. All the glitz and glam is nice at first, but we're not living in 2005 anymore. We need to quit glorifying these cars that are known because "they look good and they r fast". Shut up, quit your whining, and drive your Bolide until something tides you over.
True. I find driving normal cars in Gran Turismo much more fun than supercars. The only supercar I really enjoy driving is the Lexus LFA, but I honestly have more fun blasting a 1968 Fiat 500 on a dirt track.
this i have a few supercars in my forza horizon 2 car collection how many times have i driven them? once or twice how many times have i driven the cars normal people would have and own billions of times
havent even heard of i racing. hmm. well i want more supercars in here just cause it would be fun to see how they would perform in a collision rather than doing it in real life to a really expensive car. if anyone doesnt want to have one then thats their opinion and although i may not like what he/she says i'll defend to the death your right to say it. and it's not cause the agera r is fast. its just a really beautiful car. honestly if i had enough i would buy it in a heartbeat. not sure how i would pay for the insurance but that's a different story. but hey if you like other cars, great. me, i just like the 2014 Koenigsegg Agera R. - - - Updated - - - whats really wierd is i wonder what a tank would be like in this game. like say a king tiger or maybe a m26 pershing.
afaik, there is a tank in development, but it may be dead. Mythbuster made a proof of concept "tank" with tracks when slidenodes came out. I never used it, but apparently the tracks were really glitchy when they were crushing a vehicle.
wow. fail i guess. it would be cool for crushing cars. but id go with my favorite car rather than a tank in a flash.
It's not a King Tiger. The Panzer VIB was actually called the Bengal Tiger, which sounds much cooler.
call it whatever you want but it's official desigtation was the Panzerkampfwagen Tiger Ausf. B othewise known as the Tiger 2. King tiger was its nickname the allies gave it, not bengal tiger. the informal name was konigstiger which was indeed mistranslated to king tiger but bengal? not cool at all http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiger_II now if you have played a game like heroes and generals then you might know that the m26 pershing for some reason can penetrate the armor of a king tiger. not only is that bullshit it wouldnt even scratch the paint. even the side armor could hold up against the pershing's 75mm gun. "Tiger Ausf B frontal aspect was impervious to even the 122 mm D-25T, the heaviest although not the best penetrating tank gun on the Allied side." (from the wiki page)
I'm not sure you understand shell physics... I can believe that a 75mm could penetrate the armor of a Tiger II. It's smaller, so it has less resistance going into the armor. Also, with the 122mm, they're talking about frontal armor, which is almost always the thickest.
