No, just no. The fact that the OP has never published a mod on the repo before just makes it shady as hell. Plus, URAS is a real brand. You can get in actual trouble for using their brand on a paid mod! What the fuck is wrong with this community?! This forum has gone to rubbish.
Pretty valid point, I wouldn't trust someone who came out of nowhere either. Oh yeah, because they totally don't have anything better to do than go after some kids that sell pretty inaccurate 3D assets for a fantasy car. Boo-hoo! Back in the Good Old Days™ every single mod was of great quality, nobody used copyrighted materials, and the grass was greener, bwaaa! If paid content is so scary for you guys, there are numerous ways you can avoid them and live your lives stress-free. One example would be to use some adblock with an appropriate filter. Another, a much, much easier way, would be to simply not click on threads that have paid in the title. Oh, and on a side note, there's no law saying that you are obliged to buy every single paid mod. Quite the opposite, you can live without them. And you know, despite what some crybabies complained years ago already (you know who you are), the mod community hasn't gone to hell, and there is still a lot of great free content.

Just because he hasn't posted things to the repository (as there are valid reasons for not doing so) doesn't mean that he hasn't done anything at all. In fact he has done significantly more than you who have only done a few configs for someone else's mod and some license plates. Not sure why you of all people think you have the authority to go around and police everything in this forum?

This whole paid mods thing is getting to a ridiculous level. Having to pay for what basically is a front/rear bumper, a sideskirt and a spoiler WITH REAL BRANDING is absolutely insane. This is getting to a point where the BeamNG devs/mods should start making some new rules regarding these things, like SCS Software (devs of ETS2/ATS) have on their forum. They fully prohibited paid mods on their forums and while this may seem a little extreme to Beamng because of guys like LucasBE, etc that put actual effort on their stuff, thus making it worth the couple of euros, they don't have these sorts of guys who try to sell these things.
Agree, Id understand if he had made this bodykit from scratch or it at least had fake branding, but he is literally selling someone elses work, even when theyve said it can be used for free.
