As the author I would say it is quite a bit different. Hear me out try think of the Pessima is the Nissan Altima, but my mod is the Nissan Maxima with the Infiniti drivetrain layout (FR/F4). Interior makes the real difference as well as the engine choices too, it has ingrown navigation screen as well as high quality radio from ETKs which I am sure the EUDM does not have it.
love how far this has came might make a youtube review on this if my potato pc decides to like me lol
I am quite excited to see where this goes. As my first forum post I just want to say that you do amazing work and I am excited for the future of this mod
would be cool to have different style lights for different markets, like the Kia magnetis/optima from the era. Maybe an alternate EUdm style design taillight.
Hi, love this car so much! Thank you, waiting for updates . Can you fix this bumper isuue in future? Oh... idk how to insert a picture here. The bumper has no texture on the back side. Thank you again!
I can't really help you with this issue without you providing a picture. You can drag photos into the text box, or click Upload a File at the bottom of the text box to add a picture.
Good catch, don't know how I never noticed that Currently busy at the moment with other projects but I will make sure to patch that soon
I am announcing (probably a little too early, I've not yet made much progress) that I am going to do a rework of this mod. I'll say more later, but here's a little something.
Nice to see a rework coming, will the wonky aspect of the wheels on the 2.0 and 2.7 be fixed soon with the rework?
The wheel textures are being completely remade from scratch, as you can see in the pictures. Initially when I first created this mod and the wheels, I did not know how to create proper textures, or use Blender baking. I created the textures by painting over them. This caused the wheels to have a very unnatural and ugly 2D effect. I have since learned how to actually create textures properly. This also goes for vehicle lights, they will have completely custom textures, rather than poorly slapped on vanilla Pessima lights. I should of done a better comparison with the 2.0 and 2.7 wheels instead, as those were the worse of the bunch. But I have not gotten to updating those wheels yet --- Post updated --- And here is a less wonky 2.7 wheel
The Pessima Refresh is getting a new face Further information will be revealed soon, once enough progress has been made
Here it is, the full Rework announcement. It has somehow already been half a year since I created (and last updated) the Pessima Refresh, and in that time I have learned quite a bit about BeamNG modding. And so, I've decided to rework the mod, and bring it to a higher quality, of which I can now achieve. Current plans: Front end and rear end will be completely overhauled. Interior will finally be redesigned. Rims will be updated with proper textures, no more 2D paper look. Lights will get entirely new textures. Market specific parts will be properly introduced, and not just random "alternate" parts with no proper lore or reasoning. Configs will be entirely different from the vanilla Pessima, and trim specific parts will be introduced. Currently, only the front end has progress. Starting shortly, I will start sharing progress of the rework. With all of that said, here are some pictures showcasing current progress:
