Hello everyone! Have you ever wondered what's missing in BeamNG Drive? We have american cars, japanese cars... But we need something... Lore-friendly korean shitboxes from the 90s... So here it is... My ambitious project at the time... Project Shitbox Project Shitbox consists of two brands, Uranus (Parody of Geo and Saturn) and Sungwoo (Parody of Daewoo) and three cars... The Uranus Probe, Sungwoo Mocco and Sungwoo Pony (A parody of the Ford Aspire/Kia Avella from the 90s) Let me begin with the lore... The lore Back in the late 80s the american market became flooded by japanese imports, and local brands with their inefficient and ancient boxy cars couldn't compete with their more modern japanese counterparts... The execs at Gavril Motor Company in 1988 had the solution... Create a new brand directed straight to compete with the imports... Enter Uranus, which initially began selling rebadged Ibishus and Hirochis built in Canada... They sold well but their unfortunate brand name and slogans such as "Quality from Uranus" became a national joke... But things got worse by the mid 90s... In 1994 the new Uranus Probe/Sungwoo Mocco arrived... Developed jointly with the korean Sungwoo Motors, which developed and built the Probe and their respective Mocco variants using ancient Hirochi underpinnings but modernizing their 1.3 and 1.5 engines (With disastrous results) In the USA, the Probe sold like hot-cakes... But it quickly became a laughing stock of a car, nicknaming it "The colonoscopy on wheels" or "The metal supository" for its shoddiness and terrible name choice... Despite selling well, it had a plethora of reliability and build quality issues such as rust, thin and weak bodyshell prone to splitting in a half in a crash, timing belts that snapped of, head gaskets that melted, faulty airbags, faulty electronics, deadly crash safety, poor handling, weak engines, etc In the rest of the world, we had the Sungwoo Mocco and its sedan variant, the Exceedia... In 1998 the Probe was axed as bad publicity began to pile up for Gavril (Thanks to its poor safety records and horrible reliability) but the horror continued! Enter in 1999 the Sungwoo Pony The Pony was just a rehashed and facelifted Mocco with little improvements... Did they fix the Mocco's issues? Hah! No! It was still unreliable! And they managed to make the interior even worse with fake wood galore! The Pony lasted till 2007... But in some countries such as Iran and China it's still being built to this day! Even after Sungwoo collapsed in 2011 (It's founder... Kim Sung Woo was arrested for corruption and more criminal stuff we don't wanna know) The engines All of them use the same Hirochi derived 1.3 and 1.5 engines, now dubbed as "Ecopower" The Probe/Mocco 1.3 wheezed 60 HP and did 0 to 60 in 14 seconds... Top speed? Don't ask... The 1.5 did a little bit beter with 73 HP... Was it faster? No! The Pony had the same Ecopower engines but now upgraded to 75 HP and 83 HP! Wowzer! Did they fix the snapping cam-belts and head gaskets made from lettuce? Nope! The trims Uranus Probe - Drive (Base poverty spec, steelies, no ABS and no airbags) - Comfort (Mid-trim level, funky three spoke alloys, ABS and driver airbag included) - Highline (Top trim level with a spoiler, rainbow "Highline" decals plastered on the doors and different seat upholstery) (Some little photos of the Highline here... Oh and that thing on the rear view mirror? It's a plastic jellyfish... Its' name is Colin) Sungwoo Mocco/Exceedia - G (Base spec, steelies with no hubcaps, no ABS, no airbags) - GL (Mid trim spec, steelies with hubcaps, ABS, driver airbag and front power windows) - GLX (Top trim spec, alloys, and 1.5 liter engine) Sungwoo Pony Same as the Mocco... G, GL and GLX The sum up And so that's the sum up of my project... It began in summer of last year and I will be open for help to port it from Blender and Jbeam it for BeamNG... (I never Jbeamed a mod before so I'll need some help) Hope you like it and laughed at bit at the lore part...
thats why i said "most likely", as over 90% of posts in this manner usually turn out to be automation Looks like some sort of GTA port, but i was only able to find one image so im not entirely sure..
I understand that confusion XD… Most of them are automation mods… I modelled it in Blender entirely from scratch! A lore friendly Ford Aspire/Kia Avella for me it’s a must for the game IMO

The sedan variant And the Exceedia (The sedan variant of the Mocco) I didn't show much of the Exceedia and Pony sedan in much detail such as the rear and wheel options... So here they are in much detail! The rear of the Exceedia is influenced by the Civic Ferio My intention with the Sungwoo name is not only parody Daewoo, but also part of Kia and Hyundai... But if you want I can contact UrbanMaid to use his Daewon name...
