Gas Throttle Only Reaches 99% on Left Thumb Stick

Hello all,

Having a bit of an issue there. I’ve got the throttle set up on my thumb stick, but it’s only hitting 99% instead of the full 100. Bit disappointing, as it’s holding me back from full acceleration.

I’ve tried a few things already:

1. Re-calibrated the controller in settings.
2. Checked for dead zones and adjusted the sensitivity.
3. Restarted the game multiple times and re-mapped the controls.

Still stuck at 99%, though. Anyone else had this happen, or know a way to get the full throttle?

 

Does it happen on another stick? Chances are the controller could be imperfect with it's deadzones on one stick.

 

I just bought another controller for thirty pounds, but the issue is still there. It might be something to do with the deadzone, but it’s odd that the problem just started happening. Any ideas on what else could be causing it?

 

Do you know where else apart from the game you can check if the stick is at 100% or not like a gamepad tester? If it works perfectly there then it's a game problem and Devs might respond

You can adjust the end deadzone too, so it will map the 0-99% to 0-100%.
