Or it works for those who don't have a third leg. Really excited about that. I like the simple things like that which make a big difference.
I bet if they add a unsynchro transmission there will be something in the settings to disable the unsycro part
It's simulating how halogen lights don't come on and off instantly like LEDs. It's a small detail but it does help with immersion
I hope they also add a yellowish tint for halogen headlights too --- Post updated --- From the Epic Games Store FAQ Page: ''Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access? It is difficult to give an exact number, but probably at least 12 months before we could call the game "beta" (feature-complete). Even then, development will probably go on for years, as the potential of our engine is extremely vast.''
It says that on the steam page too, though apparently that's been there for years. I think the Epic Games Store description is copied from the steam one.
I love the Wydra, especially the 4x4, with the big wheels! It's the perfect vehicle for crossing the sea from the Docks to the Spearleaf Island and back in the WCUSA, for going against the river flow in the ECUSA, for trying to get to the placeholder mountains on the outskirts of the Italy and Small Island USA maps and for exploring the outer smaller islands in the JRI, mainly the one near the abandoned hotel! And the Piccolina has plenty of get-up-and-go with the standard 1.1 engine, believe it or not! They're great little cars, each for its own purpose! I'm not really for the idea that the Piccolina could have a smaller engine though. It's just fine as it is. Tbh, there's a big difference between the FCV and all the other cars you mentioned: the FCV is a bread-and-butter car, designed for the very popular European C-Segment, so it's engineered to sell as many units as possible. That's why it has 6 internal combustion engines with 10 factory horsepower variations plus 2 EV variants, for covering a wide range of tastes and needs. From companies that buy the base 110/110d versions in fleets, to people like you and me, who would give an arm and a leg to buy the S 410Q Arsenic version, with its epic turbocharged 2.5l 5-cylinder powerplant, the FCV platform has everyone covered (or almost everyone, since we still don't have any performance variants of the Tograc - and the Compact High Performance Crossover is a hot item these days)! All the other cars you mentioned have a very narrow purpose each, so they have just the right engines to suit their needs. Of course, we could argue that the MD-Series could use a big gasoline V8 as an alternative to the turbocharged 640CUI Belasco-Diesel I6, but I really don't think it could be any better than that particular I6.
honestly with the progress that career mode has been making as of late (remembering that the original goal back in 2013 was to get the career mode in a decent state before it left early access) having a fully fledged beta out to the world a year from now is seeming more and more reasonable
