Possible SCS & BeamNG crossover?

This was posted to Reddit today, it was found in Germany after the new rework update that released a few days ago. Could this be hinting towards a possible collab?

 

Maybe it's just an hidden meme.
If the map is modded, there is no connection with ETS devs.

remember that beamng is based in Germany, and that beamng and ets are relatively similar games. i bet it's just a fun easter egg

 

The Pigeon looks like the old pre-remaster version, so this image could be older than one might think. I might be wrong though..

 

I don't think so because this Snowman mesh wasn't here in 0.22

 

Do you know exactly where that is? I'm just asking.

 

This is definitely Hamburg, the shop "Glücklicher Bleistift" and the unmistakeable red Klinkersteine.

 

I do remember that in quite early days of the BeamNG, there were an event where you did collect snowmen, ECA had snow and candybars, it was always during holiday update and for limited time only.

If I remember correctly one could also get special Steam achievements by completing those events during that time.

This snowman looks like on of those.

There was also a halloween event.

Not sure if these event files are still in game's install dir, but they use to be maybe a year ago when I did check last time.

Kinda missing those events as it was different kind of gameplay.

 

Yes I remember this, that's why I said "this mesh". Because these colours and this skin wasn't here before walking mode updates.
