WIP Toyota Innova Reborn (Crysta/Kijang)

Ah yes, the legendary Innova. The staple of many Indonesian families.

Just like the CalSig duo this car would need more improvements & changes: notably the manual transmission shifter animation was bugged. Also the rear brakes need to be changed to drums as just like the CalSig duos the Innova never came with rear disc brakes prior to the 3rd generation Zenix model (again you can use the Lansdale's rear drums for reference), then the stock speedometer & tachometer as the Innovas had never been officially sold in the UK nor the US market (therefore no imperial gauges) and finally the headlights as it does not illuminate the road during nighttime.

 

That is a NICE looking car, too bad we didn't get it here in the USA

 

"Reborn" will be coming soon, its just alot of work but you can see the progress on the Discord server since I'm more active there.

 

I don't know if this relates at all as I'm not a modder but OP mentioned that the mod uses JorgePinto's 4Runner as a base and since the 4Runner has a modified headlight beam pattern which can also be seen on this mod maybe this is the reason why turning on the headlights tanks FPS? I'm familiar with my FPS tanking after turning on the headlights on a mod that doesn't have the stock BeamNG "cone" headlights so I believe that this causes the issue.

Hello , Thanks for the updated compatible mod. Sorry, I have a question, what is the orange box or orange color in under the hood?

 

I know you are focusing on the Calya-Sigra mod, but do you plan to replace the 4Runner base and do an independent one? Will this apply to the Sigra too since it uses various J-Beams part from vanilla cars?
