you can try fixing it but i think it mostly involves the uncompressed dds files and i need to convert them to pngs for the texture cooker

im working on fixing and improving the textures and im doing some good progress. just a question but has anyone managed to get the gps_dash.dae to work?

 

I tried but it didn't work after many tries, I think we need someone more experimented to get it to work

 

okay, so we need some guy who has a skill in making mods which is not me. i also fixed the rear suspension being bouncing when you adjust anything and the rear glass is now stronger, but the rear bumper is still an issue

 

also, how would sequential turbos even work in beamng? since automation is adding superchargers and more turbo options including sequential turbos, we can see how they do it when we export a car made in the game using the turbo. or it doesnt work and i wasted my time
edit: also forgot to mention i repurposed the brake pedal as the clutch pedal as it is the clutch and the gas as the brake and the other thing as the gas and it took 7 minutes with adding the pivot stick thingy and other things but it works

 

wait, i found out that the spirit r and rz dont come in the colors that are in the mod. the rz came in white only and the spirit r came in some grayish metal color so we gotta fix that but no colors in the color options for the vehicle suit the spirit r but the rz atleast has a match

 

this will be a HUGE update. fixed most materials with ambient occlusion maps (more to come) and decreased roughness for realism, fixed the broken glass mesh so its on the windshield instead of below and above the windshield and other mesh fixes. feedback and constructive criticism is allowed, plz dont be too mean. also i want to add the new sounds so here you can with this file

 

also i think he didnt fix it himself i think he used dae-fixer

 

You keep improving keep it up ! If you continue like this you will maybe be able to make your own mods one day.

And yeah I used dae-fixer but it was the only way that i found to fix it after searching in Reddit and all these stuff.

also imagine yannis01186 comes back from his grave of 2021? and messages me to take down the mod. extremely unlikely but still, it is a possibility

 

okay why are people still downloading the mod on page 2? its outdated and has horrible textures! szaqunx, please remove the file, please it has enough downloads and people are gonna think my mod is horrible after downloading it

 

why don't you just update it on the thread

 

the one on page 2 is the og pbr version by szaqunx and it has crappy textures and on the download for the mod, its the updated version of it with improved textures so i dont know why people are downlading it

i dont know what you mean by that. are you talking about the fact that people want to download the mod as i said page 2 and now people want page 2?

 

just update it on the first post, or just forget it
