should i use FXAA or SMAA?

I use a 3 year old acer nitro laptop with a 3050, about 16 gigs of ram and an 11th gen intel i7-11800H CPU

I wanna have more frames(i usually get around 40-50 fps on normal graphics), but i dont know which type of anti aliasing to use

Help would be appreciated

 

SMAA is better in terms of anti-aliasing quality (its less blurry than FXAA). Both don't affect FPS by much (around 1-2 fps loss). I would highly recommend playing with SMAA turned on.
