They said that you will need intenet connection because the game will periodically check rockstar's servers to find out if this copy of the game is registered there and legal, or not. Not much detais have been said yet tho, but i'd see it check few times a day, and i would not be surprised at all if they made the game in permanent need of internet. yeah cracks will be a nice solution
But dat HDD space requirement tho. Else, I'm gonna be able to run this thing fully with my second GPU installed. Medium-high on my 7850.
Does anyone think a dual core would run Gta 5? Anyways i finally built my computer and recovered this account
Is that a top-end i3 or a NetBurst Pentium D? There are lots of dual core CPUs. What CPU do you have?
i3 4130 3.4 ghz and a r760x windforce 8gb of ram - - - Updated - - - When i got Advance warfare for christmas and saw the hdd requirement i was like still havent installed it !
If the specs are true, then I should be able to upgrade my laptop's CPU and play it. (Currently a 3GHz T9900 but my laptop supports Core 2 Quad. I'm guessing it'd play fine under some situations, but who knows.) EDIT: Nevermind. That HDD space requirement. I don't think I even have that much space on my laptop free. (Two old SSDs. 50 and 64GB.)
Yes Gigabyte makes a r7 260x windforce http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4798#ov
I'm still extremely curious as to whether or not it's even going to be on Steam. It just makes everything so much easier. I heard people saying it was going to be a disc, and since there's now no date whatsoever on Steam I'm thinking it might be true. Or at least some form other than Steam... although honestly those are the only 2 ways of buying PC games I've ever heard of or used. The new date sucks but I guess it will be a good thing in the long run. And hopefully I'm able to max out the game :3 Also, it's a whopping 65GB. I mean I expected it to be large, but damn. I was planning to get an SSD someday but I guess now's the time. I'd hate to have to transfer the game from the HDD to the SDD if I got one afterwards.
Your PC should be fine for playing the game at medium to low specs in 1920x1080. Your CPU is very close to the one in recommended specs, your GPU is not as good as a 660 but almost there. http://store.steampowered.com/app/271590/
I know that. But I heard it may be taken down. I checked earlier today and the "Early 2015" banner was gone. I guess it's back though. And since there's a date now I'd expect them to post it on the page.
To the 2 people in game: According to steamdb there's a different version for germany. Might be a censored less violent version. Gaming in germany must suck, I honestly can't imagine playing Fallout 3 without heads exploding into little pieces of flesh and eyeballs. It's like they're telling you to pirate the US/EU version of the game. Also, there are three pre-purchase packages. Two of them are only GTA V, one is probably the special edition and the other one regular. The third (actually tier 1 pre purchase) includes GTA san andreas, which I assume must be a San Andreas pack or something.
I do have a laptop with an i5 quad core and a gtx 660m would that work any better Exact model Asus Republic of Gamers G46 15 inch
