This is my third car model made in sketch up make 2014, fictional car called 1988 TAZ 4wd/s. Have no jbeam or texturing experience so probably will not be able to get in beamng. This only a ghost mesh, heavy [WIP].
Nice, those were the 4WS generation, that, the 1st and 5th ones are my favourites. Mine's all stock, 1.6 EL engine 8-valve head, 2bbl carb. I've thought about the H22 at first but after doing some research a B16A engine was a more realistic swap.
OMGOMGOMGOMG The Mclaren F1 GTR IS BUT ONE OF MY FAVORITE CARS ON THE PLANET EARTH! You're Car Models are Beautiful!
No 4WS on my car, unfortunately, but it is the top of the line Si model with the 2.1 liter 140 hp DOHC engine. I'm considering either an H22 swap or a turbo and other bolt-ons to get up to around 200 hp. It's got power everything, and everything still works! Pretty incredible for a 25 year old car. I managed to fix the driver's side door dome light contact not working by... poking it with my finger. That's right, I've got the midas touch. Now the dome light turns on when I open the door, which is pretty handy when it's pitch black outside. It's also got a kickass (expensive) paintjob, and is probably the reddest object on the entire planet. I'm thinking I might just rock the steelies for life and keep it at stock ride height, then add as much power as I can and turn it into a sleeper (well, as much of a sleeper as a bright red sports car can be). General question: is there an object in the universe more red and more beautiful than my Prelude? I think the answer is no.
The steelies fit that car pretty nicely anyway. There are some cars which I genuinely think look best on steelies, better still banded steelies (or some other way of obtaining deeper dish steels). Need to get the wheels on my car sorted out. Its running a full size spare on one corner but the spare is a different design from the others, previous owner had a tyre change with it in this state too so I do have matched rear left and rear right tyres but not wheels. Need to get the tyres on the back left and the current "spare" swapped so I can have matching wheels and tyre wear all round.
