Maybe for the first thing under "Tutorials" you can have a Custom Horn tutorial. I would assume (and hope) it's one of the easier things to mod.
I have created a few simple mods, but I haven't tried horn modding yet lol I can think of some fun possibilites for that though
I'm trying to find documentation on a number of functions related to dynamic beams that are available in Vehicle LUA VM: Code: actuateDynamicBeam -> addDynamicBeamNode <- -> addDynamicBeamStaticPoint <- deleteAllDynamicBeam deleteDynamicBeam getDynamicBeamLength getDynamicBeamRestLength setDynamicBeam I'm guessing these can be used to create beams between two nodes or one node and a fixed point, like what Nodegrabber does. I've looked through the code but I haven't found any calls to these, so I haven't been able to figure out the meaning of the parameters these functions take. @stenyak could you help me here, please? I know the first two are a point as a vector and a node index, but this still leaves 17 more to be determined: Code: obj:addDynamicBeamStaticPoint(pointVec3,nodeId,0.3,0.4,0.5,0.6,0.7,0.8,0.9,1.0,1.1,1.2,'hello','world',1.5,1.6,1.7,someDiameter,someOtherDiameter)
srry for bumping but the props list is incomplete and is missing things. would be nice for some things like for those new to modding and want a prop. and the images there are a bit outdated. trailer feet is labeled as beam navigator
In the FAQ, there's only one drop-down that doesn't auto close if you open any other one In the list of all vehicles, if you click on the brand name a lot, it scrolls down into the next section
So, I noticed that the documentation's been updated to include descriptions for the vehicles and their slogans - very nice! A few issues I've seen, though. Piccolina: "Aircooled" is misspelled. Stambecco: Gasoline is not capitalized, but diesel is. Also, the second sentence could be split into two sentences at "engine". Bastion/LeGran/Nine: All fine, IMO. Moonhawk: I think that the second sentence could be rewritten as "With custom parts, it can be tuned to over 2000 horsepower, making it a great drag racer." Burnside/FCV/Civettas/ETKs/most of the Gavrils/etc.: All fine, IMO. Roamer: "Diesel" is capitalized here. Sunburst: "Inline" is capitalized here (although it won't matter soon, since the Sunburst will be getting a flat-four in its remaster). BX: I think that "sports cars" could be "sports car" or "series of sports cars" instead. The first would require very little change, while the second would acknowledge the Diana and the BX as separate vehicles on the same platform. Hopper: The second sentence could probably be split into two at "swap". '88 Pessima: "GTz" is misspelled as "DTz". Wigeon: This one's baffled me for quite a few years. The description in the documentation (as well as the description in the 0.23 update devblog) say that the Wigeon was released in the late-1980s. This is similar to the Bond Bug's release, which was in the later years of the Reliant Regal's production. However, the production years for the Wigeon start in 1980 - same as the Pigeon. Also, both descriptions mention the Wigeon being popular in Great Britain - yet the gauges for the Wigeon are only in metric. Lansdale: No obvious errors, but I wanted to point out something interesting. The Lansdale apparently uses Ibishu technology (more specifically, their "Power-F.I." system) for their engines. I don't know if this was made in error or if it was intentional, though.
Does Somebody know how to fix Error Code 0x00000001 i got it since the new version 0.35 every time i try to start beamng.drive?
It would be nice if the List of all levels page included overhead maps/views of each level. It would help get a better sense of how they compare in size and road layout.
Don't think it's all that necessary to have considering you can just load into the map & press M to get an overview of the map that way
the old wiki version of the site might have been out of date for the most part, but it still had useful information that hadn't been moved over yet. Is there a way to get to the old wiki still? I understand that you don't want people googling things, and being taken to an out of date site, so if there a way you can make it still reachable, but not findable on google? edit: just realised I could use the way back machine
