1 missing file found

Recently I saw that in the mod repository (in game)said that there was no server connection.I checked the game files and it says that there is a file missing,tried to fix it using steam's check files integrity but It says all Is ok

FIle name:vcruntime140_1.dll

I dont know if this missing file Is making the in game mod repository break,but I cannot find more mods in game (for example,I search T series expansion pack and It doesnt show up)

 

Can you still download things? If so, it's likely just the bug introduced in 0.34.

So this actually happened to me recently however it made the game unlaunchable. What I did was downloaded brand new VC runtimes (x64 and x86) that can be found here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/c...svc-170#visual-studio-2015-2017-2019-and-2022

Once you install both of those, then clear the cache of your Beam and try again. If it happens again, try a clean install. That's what I did at least.

 

It still says missing file so I wil try to uninstall the game,including files (ofc,I will make a copy)

Fresh install,all Is back thanks to steam cloud and the problem Is not solved,and mod repository is still broken

 

Check for a windows update.. Sometimes those things can cause issues. Did you upgrade to 24H2? Provide ur specs and OS as well

I updated to 24H2,the os is Windows 11 Home

Graphics card:Asus 4060 dual oc (basically,a 4060 Ti)
Processor:Amd ryzen 7 5800x
Motherboard:Asus PRIME B550M-A
RAM:32g Kingston FURY x2 in dual channel (I have 4 slots)
Cooling for the processor:Cooler Master 240L
Storage:NVMe 2.0 WD blue 1 terabyte
Fans:3 in the front 120mm that came with the pc,and one In the back as exhaust 120mm that also came with the pc
Power supply:MSI Mag 650W

 

I have the same graphics card lol. Back to ontopic stuff, are u positive you did the clean install correct after installing the x86 and x64 runtimes? Did you restart after installing each one?

 

I did not restart,but I removed the old x86 and x64 runtimes and installed the new ones

 

Ok. Run the install for the x64 first again, hit repair, and hit the restart button after. After starting back up, do the same thing with x86 and restart after using the restart button after repairing or reinstalling the runtime.

 

did it and uninstalled the game from steam again and nothing

I deleted the userfolder beamng too this time,I hope it works now

still nothing,deleted the appdata thing and added the things I backuped.Idk whats going on

 

Try finding a solution in the BeamNG discord #support channel

 

I opened a support ticket,but the staff said that there are no broken files and it doesn't make any sense.The garage lightning is messed up,mod repository Is broken and theres a missing file
