The other day i noticed that beamng is only using 60% of my cpu and only 20% of my gpu which i think is why im having performance issues especcially in beammp

in single player i get 50 fps with a non modded vehicle and 40 when in a modded vehicle (with traffic 20 fps)

in beammp (2 players) i get around 50 fps with non modded cars and with modded cars its either 40 or even 15

i dont understand why beamng is just using half of the resources and thats probably why im having stuttering issues or bad fps in general

i have a 5th generation i7 with 32 gigs of ram (1600 MHz) and a gigabyte gtx 1070 which still holds up with new games,
i run my game at low settings (with motionblur and mirrors enabled) and in fullscreen mode at 1920x1080

let me know if you have any idea how i can fix this

Does it perform better in Vulkan mode?

Yes, the game actually works in vulkan, a few weeks ago both normal and vulkan mode worked, now ONLY vulkan mode actually works

If you are using task manager to see your GPU usage, but are running with Vulkan, it won't display the right amount. I use Vulkan regularly, and in task manager the GPU usage is ridiculously low, which is obviously wrong. One way to see your actual usage is to use different software, such as NVIDIA's GeForce Experience overlay or MSI Afterburner.

As for CPU, the game will only use as much of it as it needs. GPU will be used as much as possible to get as many frames as possible.

Or CTRL + SHIFT + F ingame. It also shows what's limiting you, flashing in white/orange.
