Something else on the truck is bound to the comma key. If you go into options > controls > vehicle specific you can see the full list of custom binds.

EU Box Upfit should really replace the current Rigid US Upfits (Box upfit and Flatbed) considering imo it doesn't fit right.

Although a curtain side Upfit would be nice too, the Segra definitely needs an Urban version

 

it confuses me that American upfits even got added and not EU upfits since its not even a USMD vehicle. very odd decision. and like you said they look absolutely ridiculous

 

That's because the USDM upfits are already in game. EUDM have to be made from scratch.

 

sure, however you could possibly just use the eu upfits, edit them a little bit, add the eudm lights and remove the usdm spec things and you are done

 

completely irrelevant. the truck isn't a USDM vehicle make no sense for it to have any US upfits. if the EU upfits are in the pipe line then just wait till there done. the US upfits are look terrible. don't get me wrong I'm grateful them being added but they look really bad

Scania dont make truck for USDM.... yes they are testing scanias with US configurations or at lease have road legal scanias but they do make them the USDM

after digging around for a bit turns out mexico sell cabover scanias so im guessing thats where the configs and upfits fit into the mod. either way my point still partial stands. they look silly haha

 

... Or maybe you know, since the US upfits are readily available, they're just used as "placeholders" in the sense that since OverPower finished making the upfit frames, he hasn't had enough time to do the upfits/didn't want to prolong out an update, so he's shipped this out for the time being?

 

doubt it as you need to you need to make sure they fit in the 1st place by making frames and what not. US frames for the box for example is nothing like the EU spec, the over hang is a lot shorter/rear axle is further to the rear. I think it a deliberate addition not just a "temporary" thing because like I said before, mexico have a market for scanias so it kinda make sense for the us upfits

 

for me it still looks like nothing i would imagine of these upfits

You make a great point, considering in Japan they use those wing boxes for Scania's and any other EUDM Semi's, I'd be glad once the author of the mod decided to work on EU Upfits for the next update
