Re: General discussion chat Nope, still doesn't make sense. - - - Updated - - - You would die immediately at a temperature of about 200*K. No, you're not going to have a good time doing anything in 0*K.
Re: General discussion chat Then I apologize; I was having some trouble trying to find an example that would fit the situation. AU just happened to pop into my head, absurd as it may be.
Re: General discussion chat mfw admiester backpedals and feigns the legitimacy of his previous post when called out for smartassery mfw i have no face While subjective as it may be, the scale can still be reduced or increased to better fit. If Fahrenheit was truly human core temp relative, 0f would be core temp. While this point is fair enough, remember that Fahrenheit is part of the imperial system and is not logical. Much like how one would consider 50f to be a cold day, and 110f to be a hot day, a metric minded person would consider 15°c to be cold, and 40°c to be hot. I agree with your point that it's mostly subjective though.
Re: General discussion chat Me? Me try it? Bitch I've camped in 15 degree weather with nothing but shorts, a t shirt, and a thin-ass sleeping bag. I wasn't cold because I made a fire. And where did you pull Starbucks from? I hate starbucks. It's overpriced. The other day I stood outside in shorts and a t shirt trying to tune the carb on my dirtbike for 15 minutes when it was 8 degrees. "no feeling in your toes". Try no feeling in your arms or lower legs.
Re: General discussion chat Stop being a yuppie, at least you didn't get drenched in rain and have to sleep on grass, as I did in all my previous school camps. At least you didn't have to hike 90 miles in 12 degree weather with the rain measuring knee deep. You shouldn't be complaining. At least you had food and water. Think of the children in Africa, their country plaqued by Ebola with no food and contaminated water. Shame On You! (Lol I'm speaking like my parents)
Re: General discussion chat i'm getting an htc one mini that is not from my carrier and it has a bad esn from ebay. mfw still better than my iphone mfw only $90 mfw i just call everything varying degrees of warm/cold mfw arguing about unit measurements etc
Re: General discussion chat Lol arguing about measurement systems Me: >Measures body temperature in imperial >Measures outdoor temp in metric >Measures lengths in imperial >Measures body weight in imperial >Road lengths are in metric >Measures body height in imperial >Canadian. We use the metric system apparently Learn both : Problem solved
Re: General discussion chat I'd rather it be cold then hot, It's 40 degrees where I live as we speak.
Re: General discussion chat I'd honestly like Celsius more if it was more exact. We Americans have 212 degrees between freezing and boiling. Celsius has 100. You go from 40 to 60 degrees in F? Not bad. Go from 20 to 40c? Holy heck. I'd like C a lot more if it had 2-3x more detail. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Re: General discussion chat jesus christ. is there anything that wont turn you all into a bunch of sniveling little babies :| THIS BOX IS BLUE... GO

Re: General discussion chat same, only thing i've ever had fail on me is the HDD in my first ever laptop (a compaq presario a916NR) and it happened over 3-4 years after i got it (i got it in 2007) and it only happened because my youngest sibling (2 yrs old at the time) always liked pulling my laptop off the desk (it actually held up pretty well for the most part and he has pulled it down many times, i'd like to buy a new HDD and re-install windows one day, it was also pretty fast for it's specs, compaq FTW) unless you live in 'Murica, in which case that's all anyone uses around you, because 'Murica
