    It went really fast at the start but now it's slowed down to a crawl ... Oh well, gives me time to read this thread :p.

    Is it worth botching about download speeds when that is down to you or valve and not BeamNG?

    Your maps are deffinitely some next level sh*t. Simply beautiful! The exploration of a brand new map is the most exciting thing there is for me in Beamng. In addition to that you keep finding new stuff every time you play. Like for example the little arena I found some days ago on Hirochi raceway. You could have just made the racetrack and leave it to that but no, you also added many sideroads leading to different places, dirtroads, a big ass parking lot, an arena perfect for demolition derbys and god knows what unseen places are still awaiting me :) I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the detail and the love you put in your maps and it seems like the same love was put in the new part of the industrial map. Looks like a lot of fun and I can't wait to break some cars on those jumps!

    PS: The update worked for me fine. Try restarting steam.

    An update? What? I thought this was BeamNG. :p
    I'm at school. I guess I'll download when I get home.
    But first I need a computer that can run it.
    I've recently discovered that, no matter which car/map, I can't even run the game in real time. Maybe that's why all the cars feel so slow and lethargic.
    I wish I could play all these beautiful maps. ;-;

    Okay, i can't acces any track in the game, because all links to them are undenified for some reason, gonna reinstall experimental version then.

    Edit: Done, but still the same :/

    I've gotten the game downloaded and all, but for some reason whenever I spawn the Large Spin Top, the UI just breaks and doesn't work again unless I reload the level. Other than that, I really like the new streetlights, and the way they deform/fall.

    And guys plz don't derail this thread into a bugtracker, leave it for dev blog posts and discussion of. Bugs and support related posts already have a subforum.

    is there some sort of new engine damage system? because every time i crash the sunburst (at least from the front) the rpm go's to 0 and the engine no longer revs, causing me to have to reset

    Work of today:
    • merge some serious CTD issues
    • fix jenkins buildbot up
    • fix up steam upload not working
    • fix up console (the program that uses bananabench) not working anymore - it can now load the vehicles from inside the zips, yay :D
    • upload latest version to steam :)

    hmmm, strange then, because i've done further testing and anytime the sunburst gets damaged in the engine area the engine completely dies, is that a bug of some sort?

    EDIT:

    also i tried running bananabench, it complains about a wind sound or something

    "ERR | vehicles/pickup//lua/custom_sound.lua:49: attempt to index upvalue 'windSound' (a nil value)"

    try to load beamng drive from game folder, if you have 64-bit OS steam thinks that it is actually 32-bit

    could not load levels starting beamng from within steam!

    hope that will work for you

    That didn't work either, but thanks for the tip. Seems i'll wait for the next build to be uploaded on steam.
