Yeah, absolutely, why should anyone expect to be paid for something they've developed for an entire year? Yeah, fuck them for wanting something out of their hard work.

I am happy with the price it is, I would buy it for hundreds of dollars if I was rich.

I just got through seeing how pathetic the price is for alpha access, and I was amazed. Really BeamNG? 15 Flipping dollars for a damn alpha access? I can only imagine how pathetic the full version price will be. Damn you BeamNG.:mad:

Would you be willing to work for me for an entire year without pay, then? You seem like the kind who doesn't understand the concept of making a living.

Seems as buying the Alpha access now gives you a license for the full version when released im going to go out on a limb and suggest the full version price will be "15 Flipping dollars";)

You Dont understand..by charing for alpha it is just like how minecraft went or any of alpha as of late, by getting money upfront you are allowing them to further develop the game as well as provide for their families. 15 Bucks is nothing because if you read closely you'll see you get it from now till forever. Think of 15 Bucks as you giving up a few beers and or mt. dew or twinkies or whatever the hell you do.

I do understand the concept of living, but how come they made Rigs of Rods free? If they can handle Rigs of Rods free then they should handle an updated Ror (otherwise known as beamNG) for free. Game developer logic, FTW!:confused::confused:

Because clearly this compared to RoR took Wayyyyy more to input. Also things happen such as life. One day you have infinite free time and no bills and the next your working each day and have responsibilities outside of make badass games time. Either way 15 Bucks is super cheap guys.

Uhh, BeamNG is not ROR2. It's a completely new thing.
15 dollars is not that much for the access. I think the price is ok for their hard work.
Imagine that there are people who pay 44 dollars for a freakin arma 3 alpha. That's retarded.

Yeah, I understand. But I'd really wish that BeamNG would have been spared of the payware madness. I'm too freaking pissed to realize that it wasn't spared.

Ror was a hobby for the devs, something they did in spare time, BeamNG is now their full time job thats the difference.

You do have a point. But BeamNG is the same concept of Rigs of Rods. That's why I claim it to be "Updated"

Are you kidding me? I forked over 40 bucks even though they asked me for 15, just because they deserve it. If you think 15 is being abusive you shouldn't be here.

I know that there is a free demo. That only makes it worse and takes it even farther into reality (for people who can't really get over that fact that it's payware in the long run(I'm just complaining a little) that you must pay for the full. And we all like full versions!

Look at it this way what if you waited till say the full release ( Everything finished ). They would probably charging 49.99 like everyone or at least anything higher than 15.00. So really yeh your paying for alpha and a Full license when its released so in the end your paying alot less even if right now it wont have all the features and what not. ....at least they did release a free tech demo.

I'm not thinking it's abusive. I'm just comparing Ror to BeamNG. :D
