I've been working on this project for about half a year now and there is no set release date as I am not working it full time. Anyhow, I introduce a very imaginatively named Post Apocalypse Pack (name subject to change?). This mod pack will revolve around a fictional post-apocalyptic setting taking place in the 22nd century, particularly focusing on the United States which collapsed more than a century ago. Mostly a wasteland, some parts of the country are controlled by factions with various levels of technological capability. Unlike most post-apocalyptic universes, here cars are produced (from scratch!). But these cars are technologically stuck in the 1930s-1960s and only the most powerful factions possess the industrial capability to make them. Majority of automobiles that are still in use have been fixed-up or upgraded models from before society collapsed. So, my focus will be representing both these "brand new" cars and post-apocalyptic junkers. I've also turned some attention to the military aspect (as you will see in the images below). Long talking aside, here is a Google document featuring a sketch of lore (not final in any way). Writing lore to me is probably more interesting than the modding aspect, so if you aren't big on worldbuilding this project might not seem as interesting to you. Anyhow I have enabled suggesting mode so you might add some ideas of your own, however do not abuse this function: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QP9jIYutZk3BNZ0FYdQUKCOxZoONzygqPEZS8iLRs4Y/edit?usp=sharing Here are some images, some are older and stuff depicted in them has since changed but it should give a summary on what I am trying to achieve here. --- Post updated --- --- Post updated --- --- Post updated ---
Ooooooooooooooooo I like this already. And I LOVE these vehicle designs. They look worn and apocalyptic for sure, but also don't look insanely crazy or what I normally think of when envisioning apocalyptic vehicles, like the Mad Mod, but are much more simple but unique. Keep up the amazing work on these!
Yeah I am focusing on more realistic vehicle designs rather than the cliche giant wheels giant V8s apocalypse trope --- Post updated --- That said, the long hooded T-Series has a 36 liter V16
