This is what I hope, too. It is incomprehensible that Hirochi and ETK share wheels. And that wheel doesn't look good on a Japanese car at all.
Tbh it won't bother me since atleast we got an remaster of an beloved vehicle that has been needing an remaster for some time
shouldn't they just make them more like Subarus wheels being the sunburst is based off the impreza --- Post updated --- well yeah but still --- Post updated --- but i would like some more changes so the sunburst is a little more independent from the others
I totally agree! They should replace the current etk wheels with wheels that are more similar to Impreza or other Japanese cars.
but i would like some more changes so the sunburst is a little more independent from the others yeah they need more jap like wheels --- Post updated --- like these
Looking for unique/original Hirochi wheels for the Sunburst? Look at the rims the base SBR4 has. The Sunburst Sport S (the silver one in the vehicle selector) has these too! Plus, the Sunburst Sport (the yellow one) has some unique wheels too and the base variant has some unique hubcaps as well. Not to mention the SBR4 S2's 6-spoke wheels and those of the electric variants (plus the ones on the Aurata). As for the existing ETK copies, they definitely shouldn't be part of the Hirochi brand but their names are fine (especially the "Sunsport" name, sounds very nice). --- Post updated --- I hope they put a vortex generator on the backlight, I bet it would look great on the Sunburst Sport RS! Plus, I hope they keep the artful design of the Sport RS side skirts, they look great with the carbon fiber fin piece mounted on! And, for the umpteenth time, I hope it's got Flat-4s instead of I4s! --- Post updated --- This is the side skirt I'm talking about. It looks really good on the Sunburst Sport RS and it also has the option of a carbon fiber fin put on it, forming some sort of an aero duct between the fin and the recessed part of the skirt. I hope they keep this part!
like these yeah but i think that some more Japanese looking wheels would be better for the sunburst so that it has a independent reputation --- Post updated --- also yes with the boxer4 instead of the i4. but my mane point being that the sunburst needs to be more like the Subaru its based off, so face lifts through out the generations and yes i do see your point in beam has done pretty good so far with the part variations, but with it sharing the sbr4 wheels and etk variations it isn't really unique. see where im coming from?
I only mentioned these wheels because, like the names of the ETK copycats, they're unique enough on their own, so they don't deserve to be scrapped. Other than that, absolutely yes, I'm definitely down with having more Japanese looking wheels for the Hirochi models. Especially when it comes to the Sunburst, which is definitely the most Japanese looking model of the Hirochi roster!
also yes with the boxer4 instead of the i4. but my mane point being that the sunburst needs to be more like the Subaru its based off, so face lifts through out the generations and yes i do see your point in beam has done pretty good so far with the part variations, but with it sharing the sbr4 wheels and etk variations it isnt yes i agree with that they don't need to be scraped but maybe they should add more variants.
Also forgot to talk about the facelifts: I'm totally down with them for the Sunburst too. If anything, we need facelifts to become the norm in modern cars too. We've only had them for the 20th-century cars (the Piccolina, the Stambecco, the T-Series, the Moonhawk, the LeGran, the I-Series, the Covet, the D-Series, the Wendover, the Roamer, the H-Series and the Lansdale) up until now, so a change has to be done.
as for the face lift for older models the should make some sunburst cofigs for 2002 and up like the bugeye and the 2005 model
They should add a option to have regular door handles on the rear doors. I like the stock ones, but sometimes i want the freont and rear to match.
I think it's quite likely to be a Sunburst remaster, since a common joke in the community are the terrible quality of the Sunburst's rear door cards. They're so infamously low-quality that there was a mod made of just the rear door card: https://www.beamng.com/resources/hirochi-sunburst-rear-right-door-card.8687/ What makes me think it's more likely to be a Sunburst remaster is that it looks like it's the rear door cards being shown. We've already got rally- and drift-related teasers - both of which the Sunburst has configs for. And we recently got the rally mode, so it makes sense to focus on the Sunburst. This is possibly the firmest confirmation we have so far that we'll be getting a Sunburst remaster. This could mean that the DT40L remaster won't be happening in 0.35 - I wouldn't be surprised to see it not happen, but we've still got about two months until the update drops. I'm happy that I was mostly right about two months ago that 0.35 would focus on the Sunburst and rally stuff (although we haven't seen anything for the Miramar yet).
Yes, when we think about what car needs the door update most at present, most people will think of sunburst. Not only is the texture resolution terrible, but it doesn't even have a normal map of the internal structure.
There's a couple of things that people haven't pointed out yet, such as the fact ferrettank not only owns a Subaru Impreza, but also has a lot to do with vehicles within the game. I'd almost put money on those door cards being straight off of his Impreza. Also, this teaser was filmed in an arid environment, and ferrettank was at king of the hammers recently to do with something game related
