Built a new exhaust starting from the original flex joint. My 38yo front (middle?) muffler started leaking so I figured might as well do the rest now again. It was pretty rusty anyway. Went for a slightly larger diameter, 2" this time. It's a bit deeper tone and maybe a little too loud for my liking. Also the hanging needs to be revised, it hangs a tad too low now. Or I could just wait until rusts again and do a stainless pipe

Bought my first car yesterday. She's a beauty, 1993 with a manual and only 180k odd kilometers on the odo. These things are getting rare nowadays here in Ontario if you don't count rust buckets, and I picked it up for a negotiated price of 6500 Canadian which is not a small amount of money but worth it for a 240 in this condition imo.

Does have some small issues and a few big ones, namely a failed intermittent wiper relay and no horn. Power steering belt is a bit loose and interior really deserves a deep clean. And has an inch-long rust hole on one rocker. Hence how I haggled the price down by a grand with the seller. But mechanically and mostly cosmetically wise this thing's as tip-top as you can ask for in the Salt Belt. And yes the missing front trim is in the trunk.

Drove it 180km from Barrie yesterday. Me happy :)

Why do new people on the forums feel the need to lie about everything?

@Worded_Gamer, it isn't a contest. I'll be the first to admit I have an banged up '98 Civic that I haven't fixed because it's just been too cold.

We don't care if you have a lamborghini or the husk of a burned out Pinto. This thread is about showing of your own car, and your progress on it, no matter how lame it may be.

But the truck didn't belong to him? The picture was taken from an article.

I know that. I think he was trying to seem cool so he posted the clean pickup image, instead of whatever he actual owns. So i'm trying to tell him we don't really care if it's a beater and this thread is for fun, not being the best.
