When I spawn traffic in the game, no matter what map i am using. It lowers my gpu usage to a measly 30%. This has made the game unplayable and since i use traffic most of the time when im playing it has started to become extremely annoying. Is there any way to fix this issue as it was running just fine yesterday.

    Specs
    -13700HX
    -4060 laptop
    -32 gb ram

if the gpu is lowering its usage, it's most likely because the cpu is struggling
how many traffic vehicles did you spawn? you don't want to spawn more traffic than the amount of cpu cores you have
also note that 13th and 14th gen intel cpus tend to be defective, you might want to try getting a refund or replacement if that's the case

I have traffic set to auto which i have counted to be 9 cars, which since my cpu has 16 cores it should run, although i havent checked if my cpu is defective but since it was running perfectly fine a few days ago i dont think it is but ill still check.

yeah you don't always notice it at first
the slowness almost always happens after some amount of time, unless your laptop came with a patch
no, you can't do the patch yourself, once you have a defective cpu, you can never fix it

after testing again the game has yet again gotten slower having dropped from 20 to 15 fps when i spawn traffic so my cpu being defective is the most probable answer.

although this mod called "agent's simplified traffic" seems to not lower the fps as much as the in game one does

you could also try to increase your CPU power limit and keep track of its clocks to ensure that is not getting in your way. I can strongly recommend ThrottleStop, but do read some guides before going crazy with it.

believe it or not this day i went to go play and the in game traffic somehow worked fine this time, i changed no settings at all but im not complaining.
    --- Post updated ---
and even though i can again run regular traffic i think ill be sticking with agents simplified traffic mod for better frames.
