Is it actually illegal to make paid irl car mods?

I've seen quite a lot of people saying this and I just wanted to know if it is

 

If it has the real life name attached to it, technically yes. I don't know the actual verbage of the law but it's basically a no-no to be making money off of somebody else's copyrighted product, even if it's just some pixels.

 

Yes its copyright infringement

 

The police won't come after you but the owner of the name can sue you for copyright infringment.
