Not everybody is fan from Top Gear, and Homerange has a race track too. But American Road would be a great map again, if it could be updated with pbr textures.
This needs more than just PBR, it needs new roads, the terrain is so jagged in this map it's hard to drive.
Well, when I work on PBR terrain for this map, I have to export the terrain anyway. So I could look into that and see if I can improve it. Maybe I can figure something out without breaking everything I'd like to finish my current map project though, before coming back to this.
The roads would benefit the most from pbr, in all maps now they use that mainly for the decals on the roads. I don't think that is an easy task, this map is from the time that this was not used, I suspect that there are only textures on the roads. But I hope I am wrong, it is still a huge map with lots of great roads. --- Post updated --- Maybe update the textures only could be a big improvement, this map is pretty old, so it could be an opion.
Should be similar. I've improved the performance near the main city where an oak forest was causing lag. If you're using the improved sunsky settings from the previous page, it could perform a little worse due to higher shadow resolution. I don't remember if I made change that in the end or decided not to.
im in map rn and sometimes there is mental frame drops like 15 and its actually a frame stay and idk what couldve caused it as i just loaded in a pessima

Hi, mate. I use this map around year, but i doesn't play since november. I comeback, refresh to new version of mission pack and i lost all races. All races gone from the map, fast travel points - is all what i have now. I tryed to clean cache, reinstall all mission packs, tryed instal very last one mission pack and download map again. Not working( Help me please, 82km race - is my favorite way to spend time in BeamNG. Thank you!
When i return into game after 4 month - she is update's automaticly to 0.34. Ok, i download recent mission pack from here, and get it to new folder repo in 0.34 version. I don't touch anythink else, enter into game, open map - and seen that trouble. Alright, then i remove last mission pack and ran the game with all files, like 4 month ago, but on updated beamng to v.0.34. Not worked as well. Other manipulations doesn't been succesfull, and here i am now, with that request.
Maybe check this: There seem to be a few mods breaking missions/scenarios on all maps. If you have one of them, deactivate it and try again.
