Correct... and the whole reason the Superbird was created was because of Richard Petty. When Dodge got the winged Charger Daytona for 1969, Richard, under contract with Plymouth, was having to deal with driving the far less aerodynamic Road Runner. He tried to switch his contract to Dodge, but they weren't willing to match Plymouth's level of factory support/funding for his team. He petitioned Plymouth to at least let him run the Charger Daytonas at the bigger, aero-dependent tracks, but no dice on that either. So, he tore up his Plymouth contract and ran Ford Torino Talladegas for 1969, as Ford was more than happy to throw money his way. Plymouth scrambled and essentially grafted a Charger Daytona nosecone onto their Road Runner, along with a slightly more canted wing, and voilà, the 1970 Superbird... and Richard returned to the fold.
I just realised that this mod was started 9 years ago, it's impressive that it hasn't completely broken.
I don't know why people complain about the way the car handles, it's a leaf spring torsion bar setup of course it's not going to handle like a new car. Nice thing about old suspension is you can adjust the Ride-Hight with completely stock Leafs and torsion bars to whatever your heart desires. Also, I don't understand why the 70 charger comes with the 500 rear windows considering the real 70 charger never had that.

Well, when you have people who care about something, they do their best to keep it going. Heck, I thought that the B-series truck was most likely dead, only to find its next major update was released, and now it's working again! And, it's why we have so many older cars still around today, with some even driving on the open roads.
