just got done adding adjustable suspension, its not fancy by any means but it gets the job done well enough
Been working behind closed doors on some of this stuff, think I'm finally ready to show it off. Another of the couple lowrider paint jobs is done, and I've even added the metallic flake often seen on real ones to all current and future lowrider paints. I've completely redone the front and rear lowrider suspension, features new models and better simulation. I completely redid all the props aligning them with their own nodes for less of a headache down the line when I do some other stuff with the car (secret update I'm not ready to show yet) And another lowrider paint job is in the works with a concept sketched out by my friend ToastyPhoenix
Sorry i havent updated in a few days, i was working on the hand drawn tribal skin, it took way longer then i was thinking but i think its paid off. With that said here she is, Kandy Kitsune.
Forgot this sorry, but we can put EU plates in the front and US in the rear? Sorry if that sounds dumb. Also that Kandy Kitsune looks great!
I don't plan on it, but I wouldn't entirely rule it out of I ever make one it would just be a different type of itasha skin
That's okay. I don't expect it in the next update. Since EU plates are planned, are we going to have metric or at least dual metric/imperial gauges (both original and aftermarket)? I think currently there's only imperial gauges. What about a historical police skin from Europe to go along with it? May I suggest a era-appropriate Danish police livery similar to this one: https://blog.bilbasen.dk/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ford-Taunus.jpg Also, Currently there's a "Currawong racing" config and a track config. I was wondering if there's going to be any NASCAR/stock car configs, as well as another racing config that can take corners better like some of the vanilla race cars.
The gauges is something I have in mind, as for a euro skin most likely not as in lore the farthest the car was ever sold outside of the US was Canada. And the currawong config is just a racing config based off of the Australian trans am series, a friend wanted to make a config so I let him. And the track config is just meant to be a generic stock car tbh. But a more handling focused race config is coming and it's quite nice I'll say that much
Didn't know that the lore stated it was sold in US and Canada. I was expecting Australia/NZ as well, based on the Currawong config (but Aussie cars are RHD and have metric gauges since 1974). Maybe it was sold in some European countries like the Netherlands. (I think some American cars were sold in some European countries by distributors). Also, I don't know if you know this, but in Sweden and neighbouring countries, there's this thing called "Raggare", based on American greaser and rockabilly culture. The designs are something to say the least. Any chance of these appearing in future updates? One example is here: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/7/7d/Chrysler_Imperial_1959_-_Falköping_cruising_2013_-_1671.jpg Oh forgot, any rally configs planned? That would be great. And will we be able to make our own skins for the car as well?
I've never posted a lore doc anywhere so I can't blame you for not knowing, that's on me lol. And I'm not above rally parts on the car, deff something i should look into
Nice. Wondering if we might have the UV map used to make skins? I would like to have a go at skin making myself. Haven't made skins for cars in ages (last time was around 2018-19). Also, will the lore about the car itself be in the mod description when updated? That would be cool.
Sure thing, will do that in my spare time. Probably will try to recreate the aforementioned Danish police livery myself due to its simplicity. Think we can have orange turn signals as well instead of red ones, as an option? Hopefully that wouldn't be too hard. Also, any plans for a working odometer? Considering the vehicle is available in career. Would be nice to see the mileage it gets, as well as a trip meter like some vehicles in the game do.
the front and side indicators are orangish red but the rear are red because well its the tail lights and the indicator, 2 in 1 deal orange rear lights wouldnt look right tbh as for the odometer ill have to slap it with the label soon tm
