Released Rolling Hills Rally *5 Scenarios Update*

    This track was originally designed with two main routes to take. The shorter one is the left one and the longer one is to the right. There is a paved road which intersects with the two trails to create some variation in surfaces. I recommended the sunburst rally or the vw polo rally which can be found here. Of the five scenarios included with the update, two follow the original rally trails and the others are a three stage rally spread across the map. If you wish to post your times on the different scenarios you can go to this post in the Scenarios part of the forum. Special thanks to mecke96 for being my beta tester.

    If you wish to enable the day/night cycle just press f11, go to right of the screen, find the tod and check the play button night disable.png

    It doesn't work for me, it is giving an error with terrain file and the only you can see when it loads is forest and sea, no ground. See pics.

    move the ter file to the levels folder

    Sorry but the file is missing, I can't find it inside the map folders even searching for all files with ".ter" extension. Thanks for your answer.

    PS: I'm on experimental.

    Nice track, is fun to drive.

    Problems I found not mentioned in WIP list:

    -The track surface is like tarmac.
    -Texture missing
    (see pics)

    And if it helps, fps are just fine and very stable. I have decent specs but I have problems in some other maps where I have to disable shadows.

    Thanks for the reply I will look into the missing texture. Also does the track surface act like a tarmac or just produce smoke like one?

    Ok I uploaded a .ter file which should fix the missing texture. just unzip and replace the old one. If this fix does not work let me know and Ill try something else.

    i just got this map and whenever i try to load it it says 100% datablocks but then it stays like that and doesnt load anymore, does anybody know a solution

    Mine does this but when it first loads it says some things are missing. I replaced the ter file correctly so idk whats going on.

    Im working on a fix but the new version of beamNG has broken a lot of the world editor so it could take some time.

    i went into the art folder then to terrains and deleted the folders that said :grid map, industrial,small grid, player and lucas oil las vegas and the map worked afterwards. the deleted folders had a bunch of terrain files in them and i guess that was the reason the map couldn't load. and to fix the no material problem around the road just go into terrain painter and delete everything that says "warning material" and the original dirt texture around the road will be there

    .ter files from copied maps should not be in there, just art folders.

    What do you mean by the World editor is broken?

    Mine works just great.

    If it is that you miss alot of texture or terrain elevation are restored to an earlier time?

    Then just go into the Document > BeamNGdrive > levels > Your track. Copy your track and add it in the

    Steam > steamapps > common > BeamNG drive > levels and merge it with the track folder there.

    You maybe know this and if its not this i dont know what you mean :/

    This is what I get when I try to load the map. It loads fine when I click OK, but it's annoying. You may want to look it up.

    Small update to fix the error message that would appear on start-up and also some minor tweaks to a corner. It's not much for now but I will be releasing a large update soon.
