Re: General discussion chat They already said they'll release a driver update for that, my guess is they'll let you disable the slow .5GB. And that half gig is faster than sending it to system RAM over PCIE anyway.
Re: General discussion chat I'm stupid. Windows 10 Tech preview is my primary OS for the time being. I thought, "Well, I have this .iso here, might as well use it." It's so nice. I kinda feels like a flat and ugly Windows 7 with new features. I'm now testing Windows 8.1 driver support as they're pretty much similar and the 8.1 drivers for my chipset installed no problem. Oh, smooth scrolling in the IE Tech Preview is nice too. Oh, ffs. It has terrible support for multi-monitors out of the box.
Re: General discussion chat So a few weeks ago my dog knocked over a cup of soda on my desk. Apparently it got inside my laptop and dried. It's cooked onto the heatsink now. (I played a lot of Portal 2 on it awhile ago.) (imported from here) (After cleaning it the best I could.) If I don't but an M4500 soon I'll probably get a new heatsink because I hate knowing that's there. Also because, as you can see, there are a couple small dents in one pipe. Doesn't really affect anything, but still.
