I just got banned from Wikipedia for the second time in a row, despite never in my life editing anything no matter how much a grammar mistake pisses me off.
Vandalism, allegedly. The first time I was banned, back in February, it was for “Disruptive editing, squelch rapid sock creation, talk access revoked for misuse while blocked” and I was banned until the 20th of October, however the ban would be lifted. The worst part is that they list “Unintended triggering of anti-vandalism systems” under most common causes for blocks, essentially acknowledging that they can’t get their sh#t together. Good news is I was unbanned halfway through posting this, and the ban was only until tomorrow at 5.
This new 2 step verification officially killed my use of the forums at school since I use my personal email and don't have a phone, and can't access it on a school device. Thanks a friggin' lot devs. (Tbf, it's probably important for cyber security and such...) How come they can add this but not dark mode?
