I think that's because it's supposed to be an interior, which this port of the map doesn't contain - not yet at least. There's a similar case at the huge mall in Miami.
my god i requested the map nice from driv3r so many years ago! and now we got even all 3 of them, wow! so happy you figured out how to do it, thank you so much for this! is it still being updated?
EDIT: NEVERMIND. All I had to do was wait longer, and the map eventually just popped in completely! EDIT EDIT: Thank you sincerely for bringing back a piece of my childhood. Had the same issue as above trying to load into Miami: Just got ocean.
See my above post, the map seems to load if you just wait longer once the car spawns in. If you are still not loading it is an issue with your system. It dig take a significant amount of time compared to vanilla maps.
Hey, I am still playing these awesome maps. Also I created few quickraces for them, but I wonder if it is possible to use regular beamng assets for race prefabs? Because the map itself doesn't have many objects, and I need stuff like pointing arrows and hay bales. Can someone give a hint to add objects from other maps?
Oh yeah, its that simple. So maybe you could also tell me how to package the time trials so they could be shared as mods? Because currently I am saving them in "BeamNG.drive/version number/levels/levelname/quickrace" and afak that is not really correct way to save it. Also I wonder if it is ok to share time trials for custom map or do I need author's permission?
As long you are not overwriting any files in the map I think it's okay to share that kind of mods. Make sure to pack only files that are needed for your time trial mod inside a zip and do not overwrite anything in the level. I'd just move out all files you need to make a working time trial to other empty directory and then pack them properly into a zip file.
can somebody tell me whats the newest version of this mod? i dont want to install an older version by accident and want to know its most updated version.
I really like the garage to garage missions in Instabul, but in other two maps the traffic is disabled in that mission. Maybe could be a quick fix to enable them?
I waited a few hours. The city never became visible. It is "there". You can let the AI drive your car around the city. You just don't see anything but ocean.
I found a way to fix the traffic problem on Nice and Miami if you're still looking for a fix Step 1: Go to here in your file explorer - 0.35 > gameplay > missions > [d3_miami or d3_nice] > garageToGarage > 001-[miamig2g or niceg2g] Step 2: Go into the "info" JSON file (Open it with Notepad) Step 3: Find "poolTraffic" and change its value to -1, so it will look like this: "poolTraffic": -1 (If you can't find poolTraffic, press CTRL + F while in Notepad and type "poolTraffic" in the box to locate it) Step 4: Save the change to Notepad Step 5: See if traffic spawns, it worked for me, but I did do some changes to the mission itself in World Editor beforehand before finding this
Thanks, I'll try this. Sorry, what is this? It just links to the first page of this thread. --- Post updated --- I wanted to try it but for some reason I can't find the mission in these maps at all. Not in the map at least. Maybe it was broken by recent updates.
sorry here is the reseller https://www.patreon.com/Czar__98/sh...gn=productshare_creator&utm_content=join_link
Sorry for the delayed response, to get the missions to appear in File Explorer you'll have to make an edit to the mission itself in World Editor (Any edit) Step 1: Go to World Editor while in-game (F11 on keyboard by default) Step 2: Look at the top left of the World Editor for 'Window' Step 3: Click 'Window' and go to Missions > Mission Editor Step 4: Search either miami or nice in the search bar to find the g2g missions easier (They'll have garageToGarage in the name so it should be easy to spot) Step 5: Click on the mission and make any edit (One I tend to do is just changing things under 'Additional Info', such as setting the 'Vehicle Used' to 'Provided Vehicle' or change the difficulty) Step 6: You'll notice the floppy disk icon (save icon) has turned red, which means you haven't saved any changes, so just press it to save these changes Step 7: Repeat the steps from my other reply, and the missions file should show either nice or miami as maps (depending on the one you chose to fix) Hope it works, unless you already figured it out
Hey, thanks for thorough replay. What I meant to say that I can't find the mission in game. I can't remember what I did, but I found the file and changed the value you mentioned before, but the missions don't show up in the game and now I tried doing what you described, but found out that none of the missions work in any map. So I wonder if I messed something up or it was somehow broken by mods.
