first time i have been approached about giving me credit so sure the wright streetdeck (double deck) Had the option of the of the OM934 and 0M936 the OM934 in this bus made 231 horsepower or 172KW. this is not a great choice for the buses application. this link sends you to a pdf on the torque graph of the Mercedes OM934 power graphs page 2 contains the respective horsepower and torque graphs for the 231hp variant https://intercounty.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/OM934.pdf i do feel like i want to make a engine with the same torque graph but not the same sounds to test and is there and templates available?
hold the parking brake on when accelerating the bus leans to 1 side the this is the torque this is what causes the slight turning to the left we could migrate this with wheel aliment ofset in the real world
To be honest, I agree with you there, 230HP for a double deck bus isn't enough. Our 230HP Scanias can't even make it up a slight hill without being in 2nd gear unlocked! If you want to, I can send you one of my engine jbeam that you can use as a test for the OM934. It's just how I do it, is by halving the torque amounts on the spec sheet, and then using the turbocharger to recover that power. If I wasn't to do that, every engine would be naturally aspirated, and if they had a turbo, nothing under 500hp would exist! Yeah, it also happens with the semi truck too. The torque is twisting the chassis, which sounds bad, but it happens in real life and nothing breaks. You could probably adjust the toe angle of the front suspension and it might make it a bit less, but the stock DT40L suspension doesnt allow that, only the race ones do
its even worse by the fact that they serve semi intercity routes as well 25 - 50 miles. sure i could mess around with the engine jbeam as a test template to trail the power of such engine Edit: i just realized i made this account on April 1st :/ bruh
Thats probably the issue because these Configs have been the same since V2.0 I believe lol . I never realised they changed the value
