B type Cosico started as a mechanic shop in Buchurest,Romania in the mid 1960s,their first car was a knock off a soviet Formula 3 in 1968 the team of mechanics flew to Silverstone,UK their first limited production race car was the B-type,a lightweight formula bee car. Later they started making other open-wheelers and race cars but for now only the B-type will be revealed The B-type is a not quite a standard formula vee.The chassis is made out of triangulated smaller tubes, unlike the common bulky and untriangulated tube chassis found on most, the closest thing to it is a Formula ibishu(Ford),shell is 2 piece,Top+nosecone and side panels. The panels are bolted on the chassis while the top is held with quick releases. The design of the shell is similar to a formula ibishu, legend says that the shell was originally ment for the soviet F3. the shell is made out of fiberglass Many people complained about the drag of the car,so Cosico made a aternative shell, closed nose(WIP) and a overall smoother body The Standard top came in 2 variants: Lined Smooth The Jbeam is nearly complete, exept the shell's jbeam and the quick release Credits: - @TrackpadUser : the tutorial, lot of help, some parts of his Formula Bee -Me:Model,Jbeam,etc Pics
And this is supposed to be what? No pics? No description whatsoever? Not meaning to be harsh, but you do need some progress to be able to post a mod, this is just a logo.
How? How does this keep happening? Why do people keep just posting empty threads? Why am I even replying with the full knowledge this is inevitably going to get deleted for “drama?” Why am I here on this giant rock floating in space?
Don’t worry, it’s an easy mistake to make. Whoever is responsible for keeping this website running, please consider an “are you sure” pop up before posting a thread because I’m starting to think this is a fault of the forums rather than the users. --- Post updated --- On a lighter note, this is looking like one of the better Formula Bee mods I’ve seen, well done.
Pictures look excellent, I'm really excited to see where this is headed! Will there be support for skins as well?
Love the design of the body. Beautiful, really looking forward to throwing the skinniest tires possible, lowering the power as much as possible, and letting 'er rip.
it's not really meant to be a better mod.handleling wise it will probably be worse But simply an other era of F-Bee racing. Anyways heres a lil pic unfortunately floppy sidepanels --- Post updated --- but in the level of detail, hopefully will be better
