Well all parts were from porsche even i believe the suspension was almost the same as the 993 one had besides it was build in late 90s so that makes about right but it s fine besides if it s engine is in the rear engined nah it might be too difficult but hey thanks for the answer good luck with project !
I know you didn't ask for this, nor necessarily want it but I have written some lore for the car as I am obsessed with lore... do whatever with it, do nothing with it, I don't mind. It's very simple but somebody might appreciate it so I figured I would share. ''AW started designing their next major van in the late 80's, with plans to make not only solid wall delivery models but also passenger models in an attempt to respond to the minivan craze that had been gradually building up through the eighties and was predicted to continue through the nineties. After three years of concepting AW finally delivered with their new van to the public. It was an immediate hit as it could not only cater to many companies that needed delivery vehicles but also had versions fit for large families.'' So yeah there you go, kind of pointless but whatever
There's progress, though you have to have two-step verification to upload files now, and I got a lil problem with it so I'm waiting currently on answer from support. Hopefully in next several days I'll be able to upload files once again as there has been ton of progress made. Ty I guess lol
Past few days I've been working long on the mod, alongside stuff I have covered down below I've also fixed several minor and major bugs, aswell added some common stuff, like windshield damage textures. Here's the list. 02.05 All wheels and hubcaps are here, In total there are 5 sets of wheels, and 5 sets of different hubcaps Steel wheels: two styles and one duplicate with different color Then we got hubcaps, 2 of them lugnut hubcaps for steelies And 2 aluminium wheels 05.05 That's the base passagier version, the second row single seat is deattachable. Differences between the base cargo and base passanger version are only visual, (different headrest, different seats pattern, rear view mirror, interior panels, different wheels, different colour) (It's kind of a old picture, there are no seatbelts in it) Dome light 07.05 Alright, here’s another model which is Passagier Komfort, logically, its Passagier, just better Not much has changed on outside - different hubcaps, metallic color, and slidable side windows (On release they'll actually work, I just didn't do the jbeam yet). On the other hand, interior is where things get more interesting: armrests, door panels with fabric armrest, navigation, proper gauges with an RPM's (the texture is almost finished, I didn't convert it into the game yet), and speakers for passengers in the back, lastly, floor is carpet instead of plastic, adding to the comfort. Mechanically it's just the engine that changed, it's the lower spec version of the 2.5 tdi, the one with the intercooler mounted on the engine producing bout 105 hp. (no picc yet either, I've just started modeling the intercooler). In case anyone's wondering why no full plastic interior, that'll come in more premium configs, like Multivan irl
You can still insert picture links without setting up verification. I drop mine from Catbox, but any image service provider (Imgur, Discord's CDN, ...) works.
Oh good point I forgot I can do that lol, ty for bringing that up, I updated the pictures. Well anyway, time for second list of progress then 08.05 No more poverty spec gauges 09.05 Engine/exhaust sounds for 2.4 NA Diesel. Nothing special, edited vanilla sound but it sounds close to how it is IRL 13.05 I've decided to add both variants of 2.5 TDI engines (the one with gray "i" letter making 102 hp and the one with red "i" letter making 151hp). First set of pictures is 102hp one, and the second set of pictures is the 151hp variant, third set is aftermarket tune which model wise looks really similar to 151hp, although texturing wise it'll be different.Tuning possibilities in the game will be pretty much the same like in vanilla vehicles, different stage turbo, ECU, blocks, etc. shoutout to @Lichi for making the lowpoly engin, nothing much changed with the actual engine model although pics have most of the screen covered by it, so credits must be due
nah man can you replace the 2,4 engine sound with vanilla i6 diesel sound please? (good work by the way)
Vanilla I6 diesel sounds nothing like T4 though, the thing I got now is actually pretty close to how it sounds IRL except it's less raw
