I was making the new village for my map and in the middle of the road there's a weird invisible hitbox, I can't select it in the world editor, and I can't even see it when I use a decal road with "over objects" on. If you've encountered this issue before, or just can give me advice, please help! Here is a screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/nVmGze8.jpeg
Probably a collision box from one of the objects. Try removing the houses and see if it goes. Sometimes blender does funny things with the collision boxes. Especially if you haven't applied the transform, etc.
I tried to remove all trees, objects, buildings, mesh roads, paint the terrain to default grass, and the problem still persists. I found that the forest tool shows the hitbox: https://i.imgur.com/7dfblEN.png And the interesting thing is that it shows the collision boxes ofother building in the same way EVEN IF I DELETE THEM. So I have a feeling I know the cause of this, but no idea how to fix it.
Hve you tried Rebuild Collision? You can find it here. Or you can close the World Editor and reopen it, then the game will rebuild collision automatically with a sound effect.
I tried both, restarting the game, deleting the buildings and rebuilding the collision - nothing changed. Thanks for help though.
Have you used mesh roads on the map at all? It could be that one of the nodes has bugged out and gone higher than the rest, Ive had that happen to me before
Perhaps it's a problem related to the "Origins". If in Blender the collision model has a different origin point than the main model, problems can arise. This might all work fine when the scale of the object is at 1. However, if you enlarge or reduce the model in the World Editor, for example to 2, then the objects are scaled along their origin point. If the collision model has a different point here, then the collision will shift in the game. I had this problem with my Car Jump Arena Map when I suddenly drove into an invisible wall in the arena, triggered by a billboard that I had scaled by a factor of 3.
I have used mesh roads, but they're not the cause as I've already found the building. I don't know why it didn't work at first.
