Pulled (pushed) the Eagle outside for the first time this year. Couldn't get the hood open to connect the battery, though. It was already broken, but now it doesn't work.
The coolant system in my E39 decided to commit die once again for no apparent reason. I recently already did the coolant hoses the thermostat and waterpump but it now has the same issue it had last year when it left me stranded in the czech republic.
I was thinking of getting a Electro & Co ETM™ RTR from RTR Electric Mini Dirt Bike – Ronster Rides do you thinik i should, cuz im into that good bike life --- Post updated --- oh that doesn't sound fun
You could get a really decent XR250R for that price. Update: sittin' pretty The gold and red SL350 is now mobile. doesn't run yet, but it looks so damn good outside of the garage the red/gold is named Leppard, the black one (soon to be blue cus I'ma strip all the black paint off) is Ozzy
fast enough to hurt yourself. its a Honda, it'll never leave you stranded and its a full size dirt bike. pit bikes can only take you so far
true but they are also lighter. the one that link goes to goes about 50mph and is rather cheap in pounds. its 3.2k usd. but like 2.3k gbp
Started detailing the engine bay, no pictures because so far it's not really noticeable. Also replaced my antenna seal last week, really surprised no water got into the car considering the condition of the old seal.
Looking good. Jumped the car but it still didn't start. I think the battery connection just sucks. I need new cables.
Wanted to replace the timing belt and the water pump, but no... Water pump, old vs new Can anyone see what's off?
Get it to a drivable state and probably keep it. The rear suspension needs work, the transmission leaks, stuff like that, but it's not in super bad shape. I don't know if I'll be able to sell it. It's kind of sentimental for me.
When was the last time your drove that thing reliably? And on topic i had the alternator repaired after the "temporary" at best repair 8 months ago had failed --- Post updated --- I also bought new tires to replace the bald old ones, 205/70 R14, way too wide for the little 4.5 wide rims that I mismeasured at 5.5 wide. Whoops Why wont my starter die? It's the only thing that hasn't needed work (ie a hammer) to continue its slog through life
November, I think. Drove it on the highway for a while, stopped at McDonalds' (gross), parked it for the day, then it started right back up and drove home. Then I didn't drive it over the winter and now the battery's dead. The connection is really bad, and I'm getting new cables.
Been a little slow on work on my SL's. The black SL is getting some wiring stuff done, and now a front fender with custom mounts Same for the red SL Also doing a lot of organising
Oh I forgot you Americans had a *very* cold winter. When you replace the cables, don't forget to clean all the grounds and positive connections The last time I had Macca's was when i was homeless, I'd rather starve after eating that yuck crap
