Hi people, this is my newest creation, the ETK K-Series AutoBahn. It's based on the irl BMW 4 series GranCoupe. The front and back are from the K-Series and the A to C pillars section from the 800 sedan. Lore ETK K-Series AutoBahn Background & Development In the early 2020s, ETK identified a demand for vehicles that combined the performance of a sports coupe with the usability of a sedan. The result was the K-Series AutoBahn, built using the K-Series front and rear sections combined with the central structure and pillars from the ETK 800. The AutoBahn offered rear seat accessibility and high-speed touring capability without sacrificing design or dynamics. Design Philosophy TheAutoBahn retains the K-Series’ athletic lines while seamlessly incorporating four doors and sedan body. Its proportions reflect a balance between elegance and utility, resulting in a refined yet assertive silhouette ideal for long-distance autobahn travel. Technical Overview - Body: 5-door sedan - Chassis: Hybrid platform (K-Series + ETK 800 midsection) - Engines: I4 Turbo, I6 TwinTurbo, I6 Diesel, V8 Biturbo - Transmission: 6-speed Manual, 8-speed Automatic, Dual-Clutch - Drivetrain: Rear-wheel drive standard; all-wheel drive optional - Suspension: Independent front and rear; adaptive dampers optional - Interior Layout: 2+3 or just 2 front seats for extreme variants (for weight reduction) - Weight: Approx. 1,620–1,780 kg - Performance (top trim): 0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, top speed ~310 km/h Trim Variants (Same as K-Series except for the following) - AutoBahn Tourer (Kf6T): I6 Diesel, comfort-tuned suspension, luxury interior Progress Front part is almost finished, only the fenders are left, which are currently being worked. Jbeam hasn't being edited yet. I'll provide with more info tomorrow. Lacks So, as this being my first 'technically advanced' (not too much but for me yes) it has some difficulties, so here is a list of Lacks that may be covered in future updates: Custom JBeam: For now, the mod will use the 800 sedan JBeam, as I don't have too much time and the general shape is similar. In the fitire, it will be custom made. Openable Panels: So this is not confirmed, but I may not be able to have the openable latches bc all the openable panels are customised for seamless fitting (not perfect tho) and idk if I can port them from the vanilla cars. NOTE: This also applies to interior animations, but I actually think I will be able to make them work. K-Series Rear: So this is very difficult for me bc the rear part has a unique sort of shape and, the K-Series rear just looks odd in the 800 body. Idk, I've tried doing it but I won't even bother to show pics bc it's too badly made. General Quality: So this is an obvious one I don't think I gotta explain. This is my first 'technically advanced' mod and first custom modelling (sort of) and I'm not really professional with it , so don't expect a general good quality (tho it's 100 times better that russian modland meshlaps) Gallery
to be fair hes the same child that says the same shit --- Post updated --- https://www.beamng.com/threads/peugeot-206-citroen-c2-vivace-260-1998-2012.98730/ Especially when your model looked like this? Why are you telling people to give up, when you've given up? we all give up at some point, but telling someone to give up because "it looks bad" is very harsh, it'd be a shame if someone rubbed salt into the wound
The ETK K-Series Autobahn was created due to K-Series owners switching to the 800 because the crash performance was poor on the k-series, but on the 800 it was BIHS top safety pic of 2013 --- Post updated --- The ETK K-Series Autobahn was designed because many K-Series owners were switching to the 800 model due to safety concerns. The K-Series didn’t perform well in crash tests, while the 800 was recognized as BIHS's top safety pick in 2013. So, the Autobahn was created to keep that sporty feel of the K-Series but with improved safety features. With updated materials and smarter engineering, it aimed to appeal to drivers who wanted a fun, high-performance car that didn’t skimp on safety. It’s a great option for anyone looking for a stylish ride that’s also safe on the road!
sorry i should think before i say something im just trying to say that it would be better if you learn how to model first
That's more like elimiel2 Old mate has only been here since February and somehow already has 807 messages
first off, you haven't show any progress on that ai mod, second, i thought that you're doing something to that, seriously? what has this community become
That mod is cancelled. Its too much for my lua skills --- Post updated --- Thanks! --- Post updated --- Great! I'll put it there!!
Ok don't worry. Just try not to be that aggressive with others. My modeling skills have improved (in my opinion) a 'lot' from the HF series, so I think this project is viable and has some more potential than the other one, which I understand why you don't like it (it's obvious ) --- Post updated --- Well it's cancelled for now bc of what I already said, but I may continue it when I learn LUA more --- Post updated --- I'm gonna wait for more lore submissions to see what's the best one --- Post updated --- Underbody has been edited to match the k series front part and fender is being worked (not good ik, just started working on fender)
why are you trying to beef with me over a old mod i made over a year ago at least i acceped im not good enough to make i full car mod but saying things like this hurts me. btw i do this because i think people hop on here without knowing how to edit a model that it looks good

Don’t say something demotivating to the OP then? if you can’t take the heat, ideally you shouldn’t give the heat
