It probably is one of the current Alder wheels - maybe the Powr-Push. Although, wouldn't be surprised if it was a new wheel. I also was thinking we'd be getting a new car for 0.36, since the devs tend to go new car -> remaster -> new car -> remaster. However, I was correct in thinking that the devs would be focusing on the pre-1980 cars this year - I just didn't expect it to be quite as much I reckon the MD-Series stuff's been in the works for a while - new content for it was promised back in 0.33's devblog, which was almost a year ago. And the Miramar might not get a full remaster this update - it'll probably be a refresh, similar to the K/800 from 0.28. And while this is quite a bit for one update, it's not unheard of - 0.27 had five new vehicles that barely shared parts between each other, and 0.29 had fairly substantial content additions for nine cars.
I wonder if therew will be a lowrider version of the Burnside with hydraulics, and some more custom parts
It's possible. Lowriders were introduced in the 40s with the Burnside Special being a 50s vehicle. I wouldn't mind a lowrider config anyways. But seriously, WHERE IS A MOONHAWK REMASTER WHEN YOU NEED IT MOST????
Holy crap, 0.33 was already almost a year ago? Time passes way too fast. Also looking forward to the Burnside Coupe, but when looking in the interior of the car being driven, it looked pretty much the same. Maybe just a refresh and more configs. Also, if they're going to focus on older cars this year, I hope they remaster the Piccolina and maybe refresh the Bluebuck.
As someone who has a obsession with classic cars, Thinking that the Nine would be it for years, ( other then maybe some touch ins. I.E Barstow new lights. Bluebuck dash/seats look better ) Then We get this :O wow. I have had a hard time IRL lately. This.. this as much as its JUST a car in a damm video games, is something very nice to wake up to can not wait, classic cars all the way ( i know we need new ones as well lol ) maybe a EV one day. Like dare i say a tesla.......... least i could samsh it lol BUT OT Wow the new box van/MD-series update thing ( the thing with a fan ) The LHD mirmar ( how ever you spell it ) And now the lovely burnside gets love. HELL yes
that just sounds like the regular v8 sound but its the exterior sound. I wonder if the side windows are openable or if its just a fixed "retracted window" option like the Scintilla targa windows
Maybe we'll even see our first real woody in the game, the burnside allows for a lot of different bodystyles, and I think a wagon wouldn't be too far fetched
https://www.beamng.com/resources/burnside-pack.16606/ https://www.beamng.com/resources/burnside-special-base-face-lift.20587/ something like these would also fit in although, it having that many options for only 1 year of production doesn't make much sense (for me atleast)
Facelifts every/every other year were common for these sorts of cars, so it makes sense. Besides, at the end of the day it's no more work for the team to make a facelift that covers 1 year or 5.
One of popular community requests for Burnside is pre-facelift model with straight 8. That would be a bit more complicated than newer model which would probably retain same V8 (albeit with few differences). I wonder if new grille is for different model year or simply aftermarket. Besides that, I think that V8s we have currently are either going to be changed (or replaced) in some way. I'm not sure how 313 could be changed besides adding upgrades for it, but 423 will likely be replaced with one from Barstow and Bluebuck. In that case, 293 and 353 would probably be added. However, we might get completely new engines, but I doubt that. Since Burnside is quite lacking when it comes to configs and content in general, new bodystyle and rusty skin are quite welcome, but there could possibly more stuff that we haven't seen yet. Something like stock car and/or gasser config wouldn't be out of place.
i looked ingame for really every configs. just the only cases where it don't change is where the transmissions changes and where is not factory configs
Seriously, I hope this is the update that the Moonhawk finally gets remastered (or at least, refreshed) in. If not this update, then when? I'm surprised that there wasn't a 2.0L engine added when the I-Series got its Gambler config in 0.32. That update added a whole new body for the I-Series specifically for that config (although it's very slightly changed from the base body) - if I have been able to make new engines for the Piccolina in the past, I don't see how hard it would be for the devs to add a 2.0L six for the I-Series. Unless that 2.0L is meant to be a four- or five-cylinder engine - in which case, I can understand that. I think the Picco and Bluebuck would only receive light refreshes, if anything at all - they're honestly fine, IMO. It's the Moonhawk that really needs a lot of work.
Exactly. The Moonhawk is in much worse shape than the Special and Miramar. I know the devs made small refreshes to it in 0.35, but the Moonhawk still looks outdated. Devs, if you ever see my post, remaster... or just remake it for goodness sake,
I think the Moonhawk should get PBR materials for some parts, like the main frame and rear plate spoiler.
Quite excited for this. Hope we get an inline-8 for the Burnside, or maybe a Y-block. Now that I've typed that, A Y-block seems kinda pointless. In all seriousness though, doesn't the Miramar only have the side-draft carb as an option for an intake? A turbo would be great for it!
