the issue is that i have gotten the skins name to show up on the part selector, but when i click it, it is completely transparent (as shown in img #2) also, i know the skin works, but only when i replace the preexisting md series bus skin file (md_series_skin_schoolbus_prisonbus_b_uv1.color.dds) with the rusted version (as shown in img #1). i have no idea what im doing wrong. i watched BNGF Plus's video on creating skins this way, extremely helpful, but with the MD series bus being so new, and the skin helper mod not being updated to include the bus, i had to do a lot by scratch. im genuinely impressed i even got this far, as this was my first attempt at making a custom skin. Also i unfortunately forgot to back up the original MD series file, so if anyone feels like sharing it that would be appreciated, unless that's against Tos. The images bellow should help in my description. also, If you think you'd want to spend time fixing the mod/zip itself, instead, i have also included it. if it gets fixed and i release it i will be sure to give credit to whoever fixed it!
still good job dude you did great! I always loved old rust skin mods but not so many people want to make them
I don't have time to look at your file right now, but if you're having trouble with the materials file you can use these as a template
