Made a donk config out of boredom. Based on a soft top I've seen riding around my old neighborhood. Not entirely accurate, but as close as I could get.
Not a bad model, not bad destruction, drives nicely, great engine sound, American classic – I like it! Especially the "beat-up" version. Not exactly a 10/10, but I’d say it deserves an 8. Thanks! americoaaa fok yeeaahh!
That's awesome mod ! Not exactly 10/10, but this Youngmobile drives like true escape machine. Also chassis model is realistic too ! We can compare it with 58-64 X-frame (e.g. Bluebuck) and midsizes on perimeter frame (e.g. Moonhawk or Oldsfullsize on ex-midsize chassis). That's a perimeter frame too, but 3-link (?) rear suspension with converging trailing arms, rear springs displacement and exhaust system came from X-frames, just like in reality.
I'd mainly use Agent_Y's mod, for changing stuff. Like sounds, or starter customization or changing little stuff. I'd really appreciate it at least being an option. (also drag)
I mean change the starter sound, the volume, the time it takes to start, and as well as other small tweaks that you can't do without it.
I'm very happy that vanilla cars have NOS. I don't want to add it --- Post updated --- I don't want to use other mods if it's not necessary
geee youre stubborn. you can literally add nos to the nine which im pretty sure should just blow apart using nos. no worry its really easy to mod on your own to add a slot anyways
you can easily do all these in the jbeam files lol I already tweaked the suspension myself because it felt very odd, maybe I'll also do the starter (and maybe upload the files here if anyone wants them and I have perms to do so) Also, the engines had a weird torque curve and the torque converter stall felt too high, so I also messed around with those too
the automatic column shifter is going the opposite direction. The park is all the way down and the drive is all the way up. i think you forgot how column shifters work, buddy.
This has been mentioned like 5 separate times now --- Post updated --- It's not too hard to learn tbh Unpack the mod (in the mod menu's built in thing) and then you look through the jbeam files until you get to the right one then you just browse through the sound library (F11 ingame, then window, SFX previewer I think) and then you can look at all the game's sounds under Events, and then "Bands" I think
